i woud like to do many of the same things you are doing and try many of the same and some different set ups but i need a little more info. is there any way you might be able to send a typed of scaned version of your note book to my email at masonr16@gmail.com if so i would be greatly indeted to you and would be happy to help further your reasurch and give you the resuts of my tests
hey paul i tried a new set up it was still with my previous circut but the strange thing is is that i used a shorter antena but made sure that at least 95% of it was taught and a a 90 degre angle to my circut. i also put a small 20 inch coil at the end of the antena my voltage went up like i expected but my current trippled. im using the same ground as all previous set ups but i just cant explain this sudden increase in current. is there an email i can reach you at to mabe send you better info
well im just statring out with my experimenttation process and i don't have a good ground or antena set up yet butt i got .61 volts and 14.65 milliamps on the 20 u scale on my multi meter im useing the same circut you are but insted of .1 uf capacators im using (2) .2 uf 50 v ceramic disk capacirtors
ground rods can be affected by saturation of the earth so watering the ground rods will increase your resistance in the ground ..also measure the resistance of your coils and anteannaand let me know what ur get curious thks
How about we find out what frequency that voltage could be related to and then figure out how to oscillate the frequency more with some quartz crystals or something. Whatever you could think of that could somehow oscillate the frequencies of the local area of the earths photo-electric field in such a way that it could draw in more voltage as frequency is proportional to voltage.
@q7spiz Hmmm, pick frequency based on voltage, interesting. I know that the frequency coming in on the antenna is like 258Khz, if i remember correctly. I will try to get circuit to resonate with that frequency and see what happens. Thanks for the ideas.
sounds like you are inducing a voltage from you and that you are another voltage supply and as you get closer to the ground with the inside rod it's grounding out and shorting the coils out to ground
But this maybe an easy way to tune the circuit...especially after i make a lot of changes to the circuit....than i will try this again. More tests this weekend.
if you got a bow and arrow with a extra arrow to spareyou could probly shoot a thin wire up in a tall treeas an quick antenna, for your boondocks expiriments.
Quite interesting, any LW or MW transmitters nearby?
If you can get your hands on a GDO you'll determine the resonant frequency of your coil(s)......(grid dip oscillator).....
That'll give you a pointer to the source....

@MasonR13 Hey, great!! my e-mail..... millanyangle at yahoo dot com
This is what happened to me,,,like defying physics,,,voltage and current went up :-)
Must be resonating. E-mail me please :-)

he paul i tried a previouis set up in an area with multipl close power lines then out in a remote place it made absolutly no difference

@MasonR13 Ohhh, very good to know! Thank you. What kind of reading where you getting at these locations.

@MasonR13 Oh, nice, good results so far :-) Keep me informed of your progress, thanks.

@TimeReaver1 Hmm, i tried wetting the ground and no differance with this set-up.
I will have to check the resistance of coils and antenna.

ZTP here again 500Khz does some freaky stuff with water and elecricity you might wanna try something with that hit me up SpaceboyZTP333

voltage not from me. did many tests.
Yes, this is interesting results.

You have a variable inductor that's why it varies the voltage ,but just confirm that theory

I think your right.

i will be taking power readings :-)

Not a bad idea.
I dont have one, but maybe i can borrow one from a nearby friend.
Yes, i will keep this idea in mind.
