Im 17 and I don't give a shiet nor do I have a big opinion on wether old games are better than the new ones and the other way around.

If a game is good, it's good, but it depends on who plays it. To me, if I play an old game, I may not stand it. I like there to be somewhat good graphics. Im not a graphics mofo, and I look old games.

Honestly, no one cares if you play the old consoles more than the new ones.

@RobertsDigital dude they r much to limited in everything except all the stories and stuff. but look. final fantasy vii is llike i think around top 5th game on ps3 and i downloaded it on ps3. hole game was 1100 something megabytes. just over 1 gig.now the eggs in metal gear solid each i think which only appear for briefs moments all were over 1 gig(no fucking joke). ther to limited to be better and the stories are still good e.g heavy rain ,portal. techs going smooth so far.

@Inumaru12 Naw man, get a PS1. To get the full experience out of a PS1 game all you need is a PS1 and an old low res TV (because visually playing PS1 games on newer technology makes the games look terrible), and it's just not the same experience as before .

@kenobi90000 Nope. Yoji Shinkawa noticed everyone was complaining as to why MGS1 was not included. He stated that MGS2, MGS3 and PW graphics could still be used and are passable for today's standards, but as for MGS1, the graphics are outdated (try making that HD lmao) and the whole game would have to be re-done. They said they don't have time for that now, but they will definitely be remaking MGS1 in the near future, so it is being re-made!...just not for a while now xD

Just to remind everyone...putting the 'smooth' filter on in the PSX and PS3 settings really does help this title's graphics....it smooths out the blockyness and makes it easier on the eyes.
