Tip: you can kill the giant throwing mortars at you before going up there, right at the start of the area. After you kill the 2 lizards at the beginning, enter the fortress and jump down into the pits bellow the first bridge, go left and you'll find a ladder that leads to a illusion wall, behind it is a stair way to the place where the giant is. Kill him and he wont pester you anymore.

for doging the fire you can do it with ur equip load under 0.5 easier with it under 0.25 and ofc 0 altogether if ur gonna do it at 0.5 like i did you gotta stand at the very egde of the flames

but i doubt ur still stuck at this point now so whoever needs help with the flames theres a little tip =D

I use the Eastern chestplate at the moment due to negating some of the slash damage in the catacombs which I'm in at the moment, and that goat horn helmet due to the higher defense, but I've always wondered if the full gold hemmed set would be more effective in general.....

For this part of the game it's sooo much easier to snipe the stone throwing monster down. It takes like 30-50 standart arrows each for me.

Guys upgrade your shields...I saw in this movie that you lose too much stamina while blocking...Stability stat of your shield is important, the more the stability the shield has, less stamina you lose while blocking

@mildlyaphasic Can be bought by a merchant in the Depths. He has a gold helmet with horns on it and he's in front of the gate to Blight Town. You can't miss him.

@mildlyaphasic I'm almost certain that you're correct. I went back down there so I could buy a few provisions and he was gone. Some merchant lol. I'm in Anor Londo right now and the merchant there is pretty beast. So that makes up for it.

When I was fighting that chest-mob that drops Lightning Spear he fell down the elevator in the corner. He died and I got 1000 souls for it but I couldn't pick up the Spear........... rage.

@skobaloba Join the forest covenant by talking to the cat (behind the door, you need the medalion to open).

Now if you go from the drake valley into blight town, go down to the swamp using the water wheel lift and there's a merchant there who sells the spears. You need to be with the forest covenant to see him.

Thank you for posting the video; good idea to turn the traps on the enemies like that. Your armor - what boost is it giving you? It looks like your feet are glowing and you have a little hood icon at the top-left of the screen.

@kevinpalmerio the name of the armor is Gold-Hemmed Black Armor and you can get it in the Demon's Ruin. Head towards the bossand go to the end of the path. You will find a grave with a corpse lying on top.

@dudettam there is a better shield in the paint world... erm... when you go near the dead dragon. it boost your attribute and you deff at the same time. Blood shield...somthing like that lolz
