  • Why should'nt the nsa spy domestically, it worked for the nazis. After their 9/11-the reichstag fire,(which was undertaken by the nazis)The waffen s.s. spied domestically and guess what? no more "terrorist" attacks.

  • another classic example of wastful Government spending, illegal activity, pointless activity, useless activity and idiots who dont know WTF they are doing all while a kid sits at the console and copies to whole deal onto a thumb drive walks out of the building and uploads it to Wikileaks, fucking halarious. There are several forms of communication that cant be monitored, not to mention the encrypted forms that cant in a useful amount of time if at all, tards.

  • 2:08 the gubberment

  • DAMNIT FISHER!! YOU FAILED THE MISSION

  • I hope they spy on me sometime. They'll see how smart I am and hopefully offer me a job. I jack off a lot though and live with an illegal immigrant (she is soooo hot though) is that going to disqualify me from working for them? My Dad is no Angel either, I heard that may have an effect on me too :( oh well, i don't care. CIVILIAN JOBS PAY MORE!!!

  • Its horrible that Bush was not able to be elected into his well deserved third, fourth and fifth term, which he easily would have won.

There are still blacks, mexicans, gays and people in that other area on the other side of the planet who are all poverty stricken homeless people. Its simply a shame they just can't all be removed.

fuckin nation.. damned fucking nation of ours... FTlols ;)

  • Wow if you really believe that you are on evil bastard and have no sole left my prayers wont even help you.PEACE

  • "This is a limited program designed to prevent attacks on the United States of America -- and I repeat: limited." -George W. Bush (January,1, 2006) Regarding NSA warrantless surveillance programs.

"The government will make use of these powers only insofar as they are essential for carrying out vitally necessary measures...The number of cases in which an internal necessity exists for having recourse to such a law is in itself a limited one." -Hitler (March,23,1933) Regarding THe Enabling Act.

  • Ah yes. And now Obama is doing the exact same thing, relying on a network of brownshirts. Hear anything bad about health care? then e-mail it to the white house--they have a special account set up for it. Hmm, i WONDER if Olberman will report on that as "spying"...?

  • Unfortunately, Americans are no longer free. This is no longer a "free country." We are being spied on by our OWN government, and for what reasons? It's not anti-terrorism, thats more Bush lies. The People of the United States of America would like to know. Maybe it's time to move to Canada.

  • None are so hopelessly enslaved as those who falsely believe they are free. - GOETHE

  • Whoever thinks this is wrong is a COMPLETE liberal pussy. The technology used by NSA is incredible and will no doubt lead to other advances in the field of computational AI research and development. Russel Tice and Olberman disgust me. If you're not guilty of a crime, there is nothing to hide from, embrace ECHELON and let it judge us equally.

  • 666devilretard666

You have the brains of a cooked pea.

How about i tap you and your family?

why not you pussy? i mean it's ok if i have a problem with your speach Right???

    now that's Freedom eh???

  • That's right son, privacy only matters to criminals. So if yer innocent, walk outside naked and take a dump in the middle of the street. That's the conservative way.

  • I have a hard time believing anything will happen to the criminals. Bush is related to the queen. Presidents are most definately puppets, but george was rather special. The bush family as well as barbara's family are further up on the parasite pole.

  • you're right there

ever research who bushs father, and barbaras mother are? Then research them and the people they were involved with

they are definitely deep into this shit

  • I meant Bush Sr there btw

  • ahh crap i messed that completely up

    I meant

Barbara's mother, and who her supposed father is

mixed up something else with the wrong topic

  • This is ridiculous. The NSA isnt listening to us. Even if they were I have nothing to hide. The only ones that should fear are un-Americans that want to destroy the fabric of our country. If you have something to hide then you better run because they will hunt you down and destroy you. Another thing,.Wait someone is at my door, Ill be back..OH SHIT THEY FOUND METHEY ARE BREAKING DOWN MY DOOR HELP ME PLEASE HELP ME CANT TYP FAST ENOUF JLKDL .FDJLKANNNFFFFFFFFFFF

  • Your ignorant. Silence and giving up our civil liberties is exactly what the terrorists want. The Bush Administration set a precedent that the president is above the law and does not need to follow the carefully laid out words of the 4th amendment, the right of every American to be free from illegal, unreasonable searches and seizures. Our founding fathers would be disgusted with yours and others complacency.

  • Don't you know Sarcasm when you hear it? should have. I saw this interview on Countdown and to be honest it didnt shock me as much as I thought it would. I guess the past eight years have desensitized me. I think that those involved should be prosecuted, no matter how high it goes. Old W. doesnt have a president to pardon him like Nixon.

  • Reading all the text helps doesn't it ;-)

  • Yeah, let the government spy on us and anyone that disagrees with the government will be know and silenced for being un-American. Sounds like a good idea to me. NOT. What an idiot.

  • oh hell yes they did, and the locals at homeland sec took advantage of it.

Who hates the name homeland? It sounds like nazi germany to me.

  • Why didn't the whistle blower go on CNN or a legitimate news network first, just by going Olbermann , what would normally look like good info is already questionable.

  • That's so true. I posted this in a political debate group on myspace and everyone laughed it off simply because it's Olbermann who's reporting the story. MSNBC and Fox are too partisan for stories like these. It hurts Tice's credibility in the eyes of non-partisan people. CNN would have been a much better choice.

  • And CNN isn't partisan? Ever see that dolt Rick Sanchez? Har har hardy har har.

  • It's less partisan than Fox and MSNBC. It was the best option he had.

  • It's important to get rid of the problems that are left in any ways we can. At least we can still make fun of Bush as we try to clean up his messes!

  • I'm a Registered Repubilcan but if we don't prosecute Bush WE SEND A HORRIBLE MESSAGE TO THE REST OF THE WORLD!

  • This is why I feel that I may regret voting for Obama (I'm a Liberal). What in the world would make anybody think that Obama would not use these same powers that Bush clearly abused. As a matter of law and principle, we cannot let Bush get away scott-free with this. If so, Obama and future Presidents will get the idea: "I'm the Mother-fuckin' President of the United States and I can do whatever I want," This is precisely why we have Separation of Powers and Checks and Balances.

  • I wonder when people will realize that it's not "Bush" and "Obama". It's an organized economic mafia with an insidious mindset that will stop at NOTHING to see their agenda come to fruition. Bush and Obama are the shields.

  • Protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America.

  • If only the politicians also valued their oaths to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America.

If only the people still valued the Constitution.

I'd say the government schools are to blame.

Government officials tend to resent the Constitution, to the extent that it limits their power and their ability to do what they want.

This NSA fellow is a wonderful exception to that general tendency.

  • Welcome to the Fascist States of Corporation

  • fuck this prick fuck everyone who is comming out now you have had the past eight years to realize and speakout...stop begging Obama for work.

  • Do you think this dolt Olberman will do an investigation into Bill Clinton's Project Echelon? No. His marketing plan is to bash Bush all the time. I'm amazed at how many fools eat up The Countdown act. This dope Tice doesn't remember when the networks at the NSA crashed in the 1990's because the Clintonista's were sucking up every electronic communication.

  • Screen name is very appropriate. Clinton couldn't even get roving wiretaps thru Congress. Give it a rest. He hasn't been in office for 8 yrs.

  • You've seen the boat I own? Where? The point is, the NSA has been doing this for 60 years. Olbermann makes it sound like it all started under Bush. Tice claims he now has to hand write notes (because his electronics will be picked off) - I knew people who were doing the same thing in the 1990's under Clinton rule. I agree with you, Bush is out of office, give it a rest. I don't see Obama rushing to stop this stuff (read the fine print of his orders).

  • While Mr. Tice didn't quite go there, I would be interested to know anyone's thoughts as to whether you think there was a concerted effort on behalf of the Bush Administration to actively target former New York Governor Elliot Spitzer on behalf of those whom Spizer probed of criminal doings on Wall Street? Thanks.

  • That is a very good question. A lead may be to see, who first broke the story on the spitzer affair (If I am not mistaken it started with IRS and FBI actions). Then look at what Spizer had been up to i the time before he was so rudely interrupted.

On an aside: When we ever - like in EVER - learn, that a massive intelligence gatering information can be counter-productive. If You look at East Germany, the Stasi problem was not, that they had too little information, but an information owerflow.

  • Spitzer tried to warn about subprime mortgages. And boy did he pay the price!

  • Sure, and if the Bushies did, that would make Spitzer not guilty. Can I assume that you think we should also investigate whether the Bushies gave Spitzer drugs so he would have a things for young women. Wow... you are really on to something.

  • Subprime mortgages was Spitzer's downfall.

  • oh and to intelegens, don't be so flip, lucky for you not all gov workers are brainwashed into unquestioning allegiance to any stupidity that happens to achieve rank

  • leland61 is right, prosecute Bush & Cheney for being traitors and for every war crime. Prosecute them for every single life lost in Iraq, including our soldiers. They should take responsibility for the actions of every American citizen & soldier they ordered/bullied/lied to/forced- to commit these acts based on the fact that they are ultimately responsible for their subordinates who are required to carry out their orders whether they agree with him or not. Let him hang like Saddam!

  • ridiculous

  • Yeah, it IS ridiculous when people just accept what the government does without questioning it. 'Cause, I mean c'mon! It's OUR government! They'd never lie to us!

Yeah. You're right. Every time somebody finds fault, they're conspiracy theorists. Good thinking. —Oh, hey, I forgot to tell you that Santa Claus says "Hi."

Guess what? George Bush? Not a god. Some men aren't exactly trustworthy. Just so happens this one was heading our government.

  • haha, dude, my screen name is georgebush231 cuz it's a joke. i voted for kerry and obama. i absolutely hate what the bush administration has done and one of my college research papers was about how guantanamo bay violates international law and the geneva conventions. so, yeah i meant ridiculous because what they did with our civil liberties was just that. don't judge so quickly : ) .

  • You posters, are, acting on the info with acute

we's??? I doubt you are GOV workers!

  • This will make the campaign against Eric Holder get really nasty. The GOP goons know Dumbya is guilty of many crimes and Holder will prosecute.

  • This was MacCarthyism 21st century style. We all knew it.

  • We've known this for years. It is necessary, however, that we uncover all of the criminal activities of the Bush/Cheney crime family AND PROSECUTE the offenders including Bush and Cheney for what they are : traitors, war criminals, and perpetrators of crimes against humanity.

  • just as we ALL suspected!

Russel Tise is a BRAVE man! RESPECT!!! hope more working for the NSA will be BRAVE enough to come forward and NOT let the FBI intimidate them.

btw ... i thought the FBI investigating Obama's and McCain's computers and finding Chinese worms was ....... FISHY FISHY FISHY

thanks Keith! please don't let this story die!

  • "Bush Hung in Effigy" by Richard "Morte" Cheney

  • [cont.] and stay vigilant against further encroachments on our civil liberties -- for the love of the Constitution.

  • [cont.] (that is, keep them from dissenting and interfering with your policies by disagreeing with them or even by trying to find out what is really happening) without even doing anything

    3. by admitting past sins, it is possible to continue committing them with more secrecy

we live in a police state lite. but then again, every form of government is some form of a police state, in the end. just be glad it's not any worse (for now)

    [cont.]

  • in case any naive people think KO is some courageous investigative reporter, let me explain why this is coming out now.

    1. Obama wants to restore the illusion of transparency in government

    2. the panopticon principle -- when everybody thinks they're being watched, but can't see the watchers, they will assume they are always being watched and you can control people

    [cont.]

  • Search this title:

Are ALL COMMUNICATIONS routed overseas to circumvent US law and the Constitution?

  • Paging Eric Holder... Mr. Holder to the white courtesy phone...

  • Now I suppose we will hear it confirmed that the phones/computers/faxes of Congress were monitored (& closely, I bet).

  • This isn't really big news, because when it comes to Bush we all were suspecting the worst case scenario. It turns out our worst fears were real. Now all we need is this man Tice to testify at Bush's trial. Bush on trial would qualify as big news.

  • Suspecting the worst case scenario doesn't get you anywhere in a court of law. You need inside information and this is that.

The bigger news will certainly be George Bush's Indictment.

A guilty verdict will be bigger yet. You must proceed once step at a time.

This IS big news to me although like you I suspected the worst.

  • If this were ever to go to trial (which I don't think it will or should) then this certainly doesn't prove anything againt Bush. He even said that he wasn't aware of how much the president knew about what went on. And it's not hard to believe this could have gone on under his nose, I mean he's not known for his brains or anything

  • Bush wasn't aware? He was President, for crying out loud. Appparently, he just wasn't interested.

  • He's not omniscient. He has people who monitor things for him, and I'd imagine they aren't impossible to get around. I'm not standing up for Bush or anything, I'm just stating that it's not evidence enough to convict him

  • F*ck off, moron.

  • Russel Tice

'02:45 The National Security Agency had access to ALL American's communications: faxes, phone calls and their computer communications. And it didn't matter whether you were in Kansas, in the middle of the country and never made a foreign communications at all, they monitored ALL communications.'

There you have it ladies and gentlemen, the monstrous smoking gun of the arch criminal George W. Bush.

    Three hundred million felonies.
