I cannot get over the fact of how awsome you did this. what an amazing job man. I love it. Wish i could get a damn job so i could buy things like this. But... VERY Nice job, 5 stars man
Nice work! I used the same roker switches and installed them the same way! Now need to dremel the side panel edge to fit past the roker switches! Thanks!
yeah the side door hinge needs a chunk the length of the total height of the switches cut off since there's not enough clearance. I learned this late in the process when I tried to get the door on. Glad to see you got it to work as I did!
My new waterloop is nearly complete ... been taking my time since the laptop is more than adequate at doing what I need to do till it's complete (8800m GT onboard video/1.8ghz Intel processor).
I drilled with 3/4 (I think) inch drill bit throught both plastic and metal. First I took the face plate off and drilled that and seperately drilled the metal after re-attaching the faceplate and drawing through it to mark the whole to drill in the metal.
Make sure to drill smaller than necessary on the plastic. The plastic should be a "snug" fit. The fit will hold the switches in place and there is a snapping mechanism on the switches when they are pushed in all the way.
Nice vid! Do you know if you can do this with the 15 inch logisys ccfl? I could care less about sound activation!

ok I seen when you hit the first two switches and the lights went out. What did the 3rd or bottom switch control?

what brand of cathodes did you use? Because i can't find any brand that has true red cathodes. They're either orange or pink never red.
