The lust for violence is amongst every human. A stupid person may use brute force to kill a single person while an incredibly smart human may use words to control an army of stupid people to kill millions. Look at Stalin, Mao, and Hitler.

@jtmedina75 I don't know about Stalin but Hitler was very intelligent. After all, Germany was THE technological country during that time, already invented basic rocket technology, submarines, and the like.

But in any case, a man with intelligence will want to use that somehow or learn more. Would an alien civilization come to Earth, kill millions, just for the sake of science? Yes.

@DarkZerkerX 1- Hitler didn't invented rocket technology, submarines or other stuff like that. German scientist did among them Wernher von Braun.

2- Would an alien civilization come to Earth, kill millions, just for the sake of science?.....The question is why would an alien civilization that had space travel technology to travel light years across the universe want to kill us for the sake of science?.

If an alien civilization had that technology they wouldn't need to kill anyone.

@jtmedina75 @jtmedina75 No but it can show how somebody with intelligence and words can get those kinds of people to do so.

It doesn't even have to be science. it can be because of resources or land...mostly land. Any hyper advanced alien civilization would want to colonize other worlds just as the British colonized America. Why? Exploration, adventure, fame. And to colonize, they need to wipe out the native population or at least enslave them.

On the other hand. I still believe that the more technologically advanced, and intelligent a civilization is the less the need for violence. Sadly we live in a very violent planet where we are addict to it. Violence and suffering is part of our lives and we can see it on the media, movies and videogames. Violence is a way of life on this planet I still believe there has to be someone more advanced than us and less violent out there.

If we ever did experience an alien "invasion", I holding fast to the belief that they would not only be technologically more advanced than we are, but also spiritually more advanced than we are and would come with peaceful intentions as opposed to obliterating human life on the entire planet.

its even more scary that people aka the military have the capability to do everything the aliens did to us...EMP, Virus, Hope, Unity, and the people never even see the attacker.
