The thing is, though, that most cars built in the last 10 years don't have cassette players. And even some cars that do don't have the kind that are compatible with those adapters.
There's also those radio transmitter things, but those are useless if the frequencies are the same as (or even close to) the ones local stations use, which they are in my case.
I ended up buying a new stereo with a USB port about a year ago, but I never would have if my car had a tape deck.
I have a simple phone that I can text and call on! Plain and simple! It comes with Internet but I almost NEVER use it!! That's wat I have a computer and my iPod for :D and I just got that as a birthday present

when i become adult, and if i see some kid playing music on volume max, i will take the phone out of their hand, yell at them to turn it the fuuuu down, and if they dont say something like "O-okay" i will delete that song, and all other songs they have on it, and turn the volume off, THEN give them back. (Im sick and tired of it at school, too.)

@saga111luna maybe we do that instead of having to wear headphones. it gets really aggrivating having to strain to listen, while trying to stay close enough together to be able to have the earphone in. maybe some kids do it for attention, but most just want to listen to music.

My cassette adapter was for free lol glad I'm not the only one who uses it. Not because I'm embarrassed of it but because it's good to know some people are still smart enough not to spend hundreds on something you can get for cheap.

@miyalana The only time I can ever find validation in texting when next to each other is if both parties are mute, deaf, not capable of learning sign language or is taking a bit longer to learn it than others, or if by some incredibly weird neorological mutation, are only capable of communicating through text...

I'd say the only GOOD economy car would be the "EV1" from the like 1960s which was made by GM who wouldn't sell it because they though they couldn't make money off of the parts. And on the "Star Trek Cell phone Headsets" i would buy one of those even if i didn't have a fun just to fuck with people like walk around with it covered up and all of a sudden start talking randomly "Oh hi how are you?" The thing is, though, that most cars built in the last 10 years don't have cassette players. And even some cars that do don't have the kind that are compatible with those adapters.
There's also those radio transmitter things, but those are useless if the frequencies are the same as (or even close to) the ones local stations use, which they are in my case.
I ended up buying a new stereo with a USB port about a year ago, but I never would have if my car had a tape deck.
