I'm from a greek village called Izvor (Pigi now a days) near to Gevgelja, and I found this song by searching for Gumendze (Goumenissa now a days), which is a city close to my village.
What does this song say? Anything about these areas? I want to know the history of the place I live from all the aspects.
@DimmeDriver here you hear two songs from women which come from Meglen (Almopia) region. Both are love songs, about girl who is getting married. For example song ''Patruno mome'' is speaking about beautiful girl Patruna who is engaged with Koljo but another boy is inlove with her... He wants to marry Patruna aswell so he says she should ask mother if she gives her to him. She says she is already engaged so boy say to go with him anyway, that he is rich - he has ''Meglensko pole'' (property..)
