My 12 year old daughter wants to adopt her children and she showed me your video, I must say it really touched my heart. You have such a beautiful family and Congratulations on your beautiful son.
Beautiful video! I was adopted from Russia as well. I came to the U.S. when I was almost six in 1997 so I don't remember Russia much. Your video made me cry because it is just so touching! Thank you for posting it!
Hi . Im 21 years old and from the minute i was born i was toled i could no have my own babies . Iv looked at every adopting that any one could think of and iv picked russia but i was wondering is that the best move to make? I would love more info. Take care and i hope to talk to you later
This is adorable! That little boy is so lucky to have gotten to be a part of a family like yours! You're look very up to date! and so loving! he is so cute!
Wow! you have such a beautiful family :-) I love the way you just shower that baby with love right from the beginning. I wish I could go to Russia to adopt but its far and too expensive... God bless you all and especially your gorgeous new son.
Your video is on my website under Russian Adoptions...then Russian Adoption Videos. I cannot post the link here but my site is Everything for Adoption.
Wow- this brought back memories! We just celebrated two years home with our little one who was adopted from the same orphanage. In your video I even recognized our translator, Lena. Our daughter was born 12-08- I'm wondering if they were in the same room even. Can I just tell you what an incredibly well-adjusted, incredibly bright kid we have? She's just amazing!! I know your little one is going to be the light of your lives:)
Apparently YouTube will not let me post my website or my YouTube video of our adoption here. You can see it though if you look up my debmomof5 account...and my adoption website should be posted there as well. Sorry...too many rules and regulations. Should be used to that after a Russian adoption! LOL
Very well done video! We adopted from a far eastern region...another 10 hour flight and 5 hr. drive from Moscow! I am going to post your video on my adoption site. I hope the time has been good for you since the adoption. We've had some rough patches--but it's all worth it in the end. Keep in touch. -- Debbie
did by any chance you adopted with Brent at adoption options?
We adopted our son from the same orphanage 2 years ago..he was 9 months old
In one of the pictures from his room, Michael is standing in the huge white playpen in their playroom.
We would like to meet you and put yu in contact with all the other children from this room...they were Michael"s friends too...two of them are in San DIego, one in Texas, one in New York and one in Switzerland...
hi thanks for commenting on my video and bringing yours to my attention! I cried for a full ten minutes. Your story is beautiful and so reminiscent of my own. My son looked the same on the day I met him (nervous finger in his mouth) and the transformation into joy is a sight to behold. It was priceless to see and hear the squeals of the older siblings when you were getting off the airplane. So much joy! I am home 16 months with my son. The love just grows and grows! Such a touching video...I cried! Congratulations. We brought Kristina home from Ekaterinburg, Russia, with the help of Brent and AO in 2009. We are soooo blessed!! Maybe meet you at the picnic in Sept? Much happiness to you all.
Pure Joy! All the best from another adoptive family of a Russian child - we have been home 13 years and she just graduated high school. The entire journey has been great for us.
While adoption for children is a wonderful life saving choice for many children, I often see that many of these babies and small children often lay in cribs all day with little interaction, it makes me worried that lack of any human contact for prolonged periods of time can damage a child mentally, even if adopted out later or in infancy regardless if that family is loving and gives a safe, stimulating environment.
What a wonderful video of your adoption! Your family looks so happy and so loving! Your new son is so beautiful and seems to fit in so naturally. Great days and years ahead for all of you. Congratulations! Tassy
I cried when I saw your video. My husband and I adopted our sweet daughter from the same orphanage in October of 2009. We had the same translator as well! God bless!

@Shrink18 He was treated fair. The children don't receive a lot of personal attention since there is one caregiver every 15 children.
