I use Open C tuned down a step (low to high: Bb-F-Bb-F-Bb-D), and playing this song with that tuning is so fun. However, instead of using a 7-string set, I just use a regular set of .11's.

im had to tune to a drop setting with my 6e on my sixth fret and the rest on my fourth.

Yeah the tuning that electric wizard uses has been debated so much. Alot of people say c# they just use bass amps and fuzz to make it that heavy.
