I have one too. I bought this car hoping that it would be as good or better than the previous model (RC18t). But, straight out of the box I noticed that the drivetrain was very tight. After burning up the stock brushed motor, which didn't surprise me, I finally repositioned the motor on the motor mount so that it sits lower and that finally worked for me but I guess other people have tried this and it didn't have the same outcome. They should just refund everyone's money in my opinion really
The amazing thing, is the lack of response from team ae...None of these problems have been addressed by the company and the only fixes for the problems is to get out a dremel and start hacking away. Which, by the way, is crazy..Hopefully they will somehow redeem themselves in the very near future.
@000000000qq I would say it's more aimed at track racing. The drivetrain by nature runs fast motors hot. I can barely get 10mins out of this setup before I have to wait for it to cool. With a race medium kv motor and the right gearing, it probably wouldn't run so hot, but for bashing around, it's a bit limiting. I will be replacing the 7500kv with something around 5400kv and gearing up, because of heat problems. You have to modify motor mount to remove pinion rubbing problem.
