In fact on Nov. 12th 2006 South Ossetia (under supervision of multiple other countries like Austria) conducted a vote for independence with a 99% yes and a 95% voter turnout. The election was not recognized by the international community, like the E.U. for example.

Regarding 'Russia claims as citizens', not only are they are Russian citizens, but have been so since the collapse of the Soviet Union. From the US: My final oppinion on it: Russia, I believe it is in your best interest to show restraint and live up to the cease fire you agreed to, and Georgia as well. Please be aware that we now have a few people there on humanitarian relief, and they truly are US citizens, not someone we just handed a passport to. I KNOW how you are about defending your citizens, and surely you know this is reciprocal. I'd be very grateful if you did not do anything that killed millions.

From the US: Only my oppinion again. Russia: thank-you for tipping your hand and letting us know your thoughts. I'm quite sure all of NATO are watching and thinking MUCH more clearly now. Something amazing:I heard joint naval exercises between France, Russia, US, and G.Britain were canceled. The amazing part was that they were ever planned to begin with. From the US: Georgia rolling into S.OS. is little different than the US Civil War, except Russia intervened for the South (whereas during the US Civil war, England did not.) Georgia Rolling into S.OS. seems little different than Soviets rolling into Checkoslovakia. The Soviets thought that was great, but hate what Georgia did. The US thought Soviets rolling into Check. was horrible, but not so much Georgia. Anyone dispute this? (insults are optional)

From the US: The French president arranged an agreed upon cease fire, and both parties agreed. Yet, Russia is circling the Georgian capitol, and the Georgians are still fighting intermittently. Russia is now in charge of the situation, and can live up to the latest agreement anytime they like. Meanwhile, a small contingent of US forces is supposedly arriving to provide some humanitarin aid to Georgia. Anyone dispute this?

Following the way of the West, the democracy, the freedom, and rights. The idea of fighting for ones own freedom and democracy is what all big and small countries should follow by. Seeing how Russia suppresses the Georgian country to join NATO, shows the russian empire is still loving in the midst of its soviet union and their ability to suppress countries like Georgia shows that the US must go to war with RUSSIA!
