I just saw the new gameplay trailer for Cloud and Seph on the official website. Even though Cloud is my favorite character, he seems boring in the game. And I don't like Cloud just because everybody does, I like him best because in the original FFVII he was actually more lively. I hate what they did to him in Advent Children.

I don't think Yu Yevon ever became a God, just an instinct driven beast. And most likely when you see those Kefka comments it's just us trying to shut up Sephiroth fanboys. I was never trying to make you like Kefka. You started this argument and I was trying to back up my claims. I know villains do things for reasons. Xande of FFIII wanted to freeze time to stay immortal, Sephiroth wanted to take revenge on theplanet he felt had betrayed him and Kuja wanted to destroy everything because he was insulted by the notion of a world without him. Because... VI is arguably the best in the series. Good story, innovative gameplay, and some of the best music around. People like Kefka because he is original among others, a truly evil yet comical villain, plus he was evil in a sense that he wanted to destroy everything; he didn't need to have an awesome appearance like Sephy's trench coat, or Golbez's armor. That's why most people like Kefka: originality.

I meant originality in the FF series. To this day he's the only maniacal villain in the series hell-bent on complete and total chaos. Exdeath comes close, but he's not human, so he doesn't count. (Lol okay I won't see Twilight then. I intended to read the books first anyway, and I haven't even started the first one yet XD)

Villains aren't supposed to be heroes to start out with. Nor should they be sympathized for. They should be completely hated or despised, or else they are NOT VILLAINS. Sephiroth, therefore, would not even be CALLED a villain, more like a simple antagonist or Anti-Hero. You didn't want me to say it, but I go on saying it anyway: Exdeath was a better villain. Now I will not argue who is the better character. That would not be fair. All I'm saying is that Exdeath was better in the villain role.
