I don't understand the letdown some people feel with Drastic, but I came in late to the game. Personally, I just can't get enough of it. It's the perfect median between balls to the wall pop and singer/songwriter artsi-craftiness. An absolutely magical album.

I totally agree. I think it gets much better the more you listen to it; perhaps people haven't given it time. But that said, how could anyone complain about an album with Hold on, Hopeless, Someday Soon and Saving my Face on it?

i totally get what u mean...i think its just that u have to listen to it a few times before u can like it..well, thats what happened to me. i found that her songs have so much meaning that u rly have to listen to them rather than have them on in th background. its th same with eye to the telescope, i think. she's by far my favourite artist! :)

Granted the presenter is American, but I don't believe it's the American "Accent" you disliked, as a broadcaster myself I cringed when I heard her trying to relay information through that awful presentation ability, she's drab and lifeless......

But KT Rocks, I would hear her song "Black horse and a cherry tree" In the piped in music at work but never really listened until i heard "suddenly I see" I didn't even know it was KT at the time.

Love you, KT....but it sounds like you recorded Drastic' in a hurry between gigs. It is sonically strong...but doesn't have any 'legs'. Lacks the depth of 'Telescope'. Again...the 'B' Sides and covers are SO much better...and KT's web site is never updated, no photos (to speak of), gigs are NOT updated and current (THAT SUCKS) etc! I can't believe KT isn't up to speed on her WEB SITE. IT IS IMPORTANT, KT!

Gotta say I agree. Couldn't wait for Drastic to come out - and what a huge let down! Ever after like a dozen listens I'm still waiting for that "ah yes, NOW I see why it's good" moment. Took a while with Telescope for me too, but can't see Drastic ever being as universally acclaimed as her first effort. Seems like a rush job to me also. Still love her tho!

Fantastic...the best.....If only Drastic Fantastic was good. All KT's 'B' sides and covers are better than 90 pct of the material on Drastic. Thank you for posting this clip.

I think KT Tunstall is a very talented singer/songwriter, and all her songs are great. She puts herself into every song she records.
