Some people seem like assholes because they are insecure, until you really get to know them (sometimes)...some people are charming at 1st impression but turn out to be total jerks, so you never really know. Maybe you're right...but I wasn't there and neither were you, so we both don't truly know. She probably wouldn't have gotten a bad reputation if she were a man. Anyway, let the woman rest in peace for crying out loud!

Dusty remains what the 60s were all about. That exploration of lyrics, musical style and personal image that makes us think of few other artists whenever that decade is mentioned. Of course Petula, Cilla, Sandie and others are also superb but where could you get a catalogue of songs that moved you so much, engrossed you in orchestrial excellence or even now, over 40 years on, makes every single one of us close our eyes and count to ten.

I've read some of the pages written about Dusty of Anne's biography. Anne also mentioned that Dusty had a fight with her loved one. She said Dusty was one of the singer that most difficult to work with. I totally understand when work with someone who is so gifted in a team, He or She has to be very demanding or even nitpicking.

As a big fan of Dusty, I feel a bit discomfort of reading these pages.

No matter what , Dusty was the best singer ever in the world . That is undoubtedly true .

Canadian singer Anne Murray just published her autobiography....chronicling some very badly behaviour from Dusty. Drugs, alcohol, struggling in music biz being gay....but Anne has no hard feelings, gives her a ton of credit. RIP to the QUEEN of BRITISH SINGERS.

The best we had...the very best. I still miss her soul. Her voice moves me more than any other singer i've heard. This DVD looks great. A shame it doesn't go further than 1969 - there was more to Dusty than just the 60's - but still, it's an excellent effort. Glad to see it's No.2 on Amazon's Easy Listening DVD chart.
