@seminole813 6 was good enough, they utilized the ecksbawks' power to it's extent, nothing to brag about but nothing to complain about, some of the boss fights are pretty challenging, i got stuck on one for a few weeks when i was playing it. not as good as 04 or 5 but i would pick it up if you have a 360.

Belkin war has this weird spanish theme to it because the enemy aces are spanish, (accents and behaviours, since the countries are made up)

A lot of spanish guitar music that i think really ruins the theme of the game but that's just me. IMO zero should only be played if you wanna play them all in order, it was probably my least favorite one of all the ones i've played (from 04 on not including the PSP game.)

Sapin is a thinly veiled anagram of spain, they have spanish accents, they have the names "Vasquez" and "Lopez" and their colours are Red and Yellow. I noted the game has a spanish "theme" which doesn't mean every ace is from sapin

I said the countries are made up, the two aces are closer to being from Spain than any other character being related to any country before in the Aces series.

@InternetLad Some were french, some were american. I'll admit with names like "De Vico" they do sound spanish, and they do have the red/yellow colours, but "Abell" and "Clifford" aren't spanish names. And then there's the tiger stripe F-4, which could be from any country.

And @rzdemon, if you look closely at the map, there are only 2 countries at the time. the wars from AC 5, 6 and X happened much farther in the timeline.

@starscreem65 It's not "Clifford" -- it's "Ciffreo." (Don't worry about it; I couldn't read that name in that silly font either.) AC04's Aces are all named after actual comets (or their discoverers), and thus aren't really in sync with the naming patterns or conventions established for nations in later Strangereal games, where the developers decided to explain the aces' presence and give them stories of their own that mesh with what's going on in those wars.

No, that is the voice of the boy in the interludes, just an adult version of him. The whole story, he is narrating and describing things as the missions go on, until it is revealed he has been writing a letter the entire time, and the letter was to Mobius 1. Mobius 1 never speaks. When Mobius 1 is doing these missions, the narrator is a boy. You are viewing the past.

In Ace Combat 5, the narrator is a journalist who is narrating the story in a similar fashion, as Blaze never speaks either.

Ace Combat 5 was the one that was made in 2004 that took place in 2010-2011.

They are all in one world. Just different contries.

AC5 and AC4 take place on the same world. When you play AC4, when Stonehenge shoots at you for the first time in the Deep Strike mission, they say they are firing form 600 miles away, which means that continent that AC4 takes place on is actually very small.

In AC5, they mention North Point, and when you are seeing the world map in the mission briefings, the Erusian continent is the tiny one on the top-right of the world map screen. Osea and Yuktobania are about 100 times larger than Erusia.

THe graphics weren't up to par but the missions in AC 2&3 were a little more interesting, less chatter from the other pilots. like in AC2 you can chose a A6 Intruder. Ithought it was cool to be able to fly a true fighter bomber. I think the A10 got shafted by designers deballing the gattlinggun
