  • Where's Fripp? The trumpet sounds good. It has that Jon Hassel sound. Gone to Earth is probably the last just released vinyl I bought.

  • My favorite one from Gone to Earth

  • Ian Maidman is now a tranny, seriously!! Now known as Jennifer Maidman- check his website, earthmusic, with a picture of him in his new persona of 'Jennifer'. You cant make this shit up!! Pffffftttt!!! XD

  • I cant believe I am watching this!! Awesome post! my favorite David Sylvian CD. THANK YOU

  • That's Richard Barbieri on keyboards and Steve Jansen on Drums: as close as you will get to Japan reforming. Pity it's on Italian TV. I wish Sylvian would do Jools Holland.

  • The trumpet ruins this normally beautiful mellow tune! Far too harsh!

  • @edgroove7 I concur. There was no trumpet on the studio version. Or was there?

  • @bogdanbackup NO friend there was no trumpet or brass whatsoever,

  • David Torn guitar-Robbie Aceto guitar & keys-Steve Jansen drums-Richard Barbieri keys-Mark Isham trumpet-Ian Maidman-bass

  • the bass payer is the guy who played with paul young on no parlez ,,his hairs shorter but definally him,,,,paul pallinnio ,,,but think i got the spelling wrong

  • @colinraycyrus68 No the bass player is Ian Maidman bassist & percussionist member of the Penguin Cafè Orchestra

  • @andremig1 Correction, BassistRESS and percussionistRESS, he is now Jennifer Maidman, a TRANNY. Not joking, 100% true!! TeeHeee!!!! ;D

  • Haha, Steve Wilson. Don't make me laugh.

  • Amazing footage, thanks for posting, good one.I saw this tour in LA in 88',and it's David Torn on lead guitar.

  • this song is very rare on youtube, only 2 occurences so thanks for posting it.

  • Robbie Aceto on rhythm guitar, Pino Palladino on bass and (I think) Steve Wilson on guitar as well.

  • @Sidley1960

There is no Steve Wilson here. And Ian Maidman is playing the bass and not Pino Palladino.

  • Wow! Mark Isham on the trumpet, David Torn on Guitar, Steve Jansen drums, I don't recognize the others

  • Who's playing bass? He has that Mick Karn sound down pat.

  • Bellissimo, grazie Siamese.

Ancora oggi questo e' un sound moderno e irraggiungibile!

Grande come sempre la ritmica Karn-jensen

    Ciao

  • @mariobracco mick karn non c'è
