gamma ray is a really good band an helloween too. But i think thathelloween have a diifferent style and it isn`t power metal.

Well, i know what you're saying, but Helloween essentially invented power metal, though both Iced Earth and Helloween formed back in 1984, Iced Earth's first release was in 1990, and it was thrash...Not really power metal until Burnt Offerings. Sure, Helloween take roots from Iron Maiden and Queensryche, but those two were never really considered power metal back then. Anyways, Gamma Ray is a HEEELLLL of a band.

And one could also wanna mention none other than Stratovarius here, since i'd say they're right after Helloween in the list of Power metal pioneers.

Modern Power Metal takes just as many Stratovarius and Blind Guardian influences as it does Helloween, and Stratovarius actually formed in 1982. Bru-HA! (Kidding, the Big 4 is awesome (GR, Helloween, BG, and Strato))
