  • I installed it on a netbook that only had a 10 gig hdd lol took 2 hours for the installation

  • windows vista/7 needs 1.0 ghz and 512mb ram to boot

  • @Milesprowerz

it needs 512 mb of ram to install, not to boot. you just have to edit a file on the disc, so that you can install win 7 with less than 512 mb ram.

  • @Milesprowerz windows 7 only needs 500 mhz to install and run.

  • oh shit 1080 p hd lol

  • hey will windows 7 work for a dell latitude d800 specs 512mb ram 320gb hard disk good sound graphics card like ATI radeon i need to know and hard disk is 8mb cahce

  • miracle!

if you put the transparency it still works?

  • 512MB is the minimum for Windows 7

  • cool!

  • @Julzen94 ; miguelnieto99 says; how did u do that? (( use google translate ;)) ))

  • @cedricd512

or he just could speak english! I also could speak german and nobody would understand me!

  • @Julzen94 If you spoke German in your video then someone would re-upload it with English subtitles saying how much you have Fegelein. :P

  • @Julzen94 if i was you i would install tiny7. the only thing different is that you dont have gadgets

  • thats the same specs as the samsung galaxy i5500 europa. I LOVE THAT PHONE!

  • as you can see, the memory ram is running at full speed, be careful with that.

i mean, it doesn't matter to me, i got a 2.0 Ghz And 3 gb laptop dual core, Just i didn't knew that Windows 7 works with 512 mb of Ram or netbook with 256 mb, sounds good, but that memory gotta hard time running W7... I think so..

  • @gabinito007

:-) sure, that was just a test.

Now It works with Windows XP like before. It isn't fast, but for important things, i have my quad core pc ^^ :)

  • i would lol it if had aero enabled

  • i bet that the ram is like 10000mhz ram

  • @BionicSammich

i think 100 mhz is more real :P

  • @BionicSammich i had a 512 mb stick of ram in my laptop and it thought it was 1 gb so to make it run like it had 1 gb it overclocked the ram.true story for a poor dell laptop

  • @Noxboy78

what do you meand, with "As to install it"? ^^

if you mean, how i get it installed, than you have to prepare a file on the disc, because it doesn't work originally with less than 512 mb of ram!

  • @Julzen94 no, the guy you told him to speak English, im translating it :o

  • Como hiciste para instalarlo?

  • @miguelnieto99

    please speak english. :)

  • @famouswolfy

no that was the Release Candidate of Windows 7 :)

  • i have 6gb ram lol!!!

  • @SASCOMER

but not in combination with an pentium III notebook :P

  • Windows 7 runs extremely well on laptops.

  • I bet anyones computer here will race you... :P and win

  • @2010MegaScooter

maybe anyones computer will win against my laptop, but i think my main pc will win more often :)

  • I like the hard drive sound in the background!^^

  • @ftim100

:D yes, remembers at old times

  • @Julzen94

now, it's over with this hard drive sound --> the notebook can't read the hdd anymore, i had to put an other one into with only 10 gb space! before i had 40!

  • i have to ask something how can i install it on my laptop with 256 mb ram. it requires at least 512mb ram at the start of installation.

  • @panjgoori

you have to modify a file, which is on the disc:

    sevenforums*com/tutorials/20967-install-windows-7-computer-less-than-512mb-ram*html

    replace the stars with dots!

there you can read the tutorial

  • Lol i have the same laptop!

  • @GTAGAMECounterShot

    *thumbs up*

  • this is REAL or FAKE?

  • @SUP3RP3DR0L1V3

this is deffinately real! but don't think that it'll work fast :D it was slow ^^ i think, it won't work with programs in the background!

  • its a little slow but it really at good condition

  • Do u think that it will work on a 900 mhz and 256 mb of ram??

  • @ibouvousaime

it generally "works" with these specs, but i wouldn't recommend it! the ram and the processor are too slow to have fun with Windows 7.

  • Do you think that it will work on a PC with 900 Mhz and 256 MB of ram??

  • this shit is fake. im trying to do the same thing with vista on my 256MB of ram laptop and its not working. if its not working with vista, how the hell is it gonna work with windows 7. i'll say other wise when im proven wrong about vista then i'll believe. and only by video response.

  • @danieldvs100 the windows vista kernel is shit... vista cannot do this... windows 7 is a very good operating system, with a revamped kernel. so... you will never get there, not with vista :) windows 7 does not add that many features, but instead it improves performance and compatibility issues ;)

  • @danieldvs100

you have to know, that i had to change a value in a file on the disc, to unlock the installation for pc's, which don't have 512 mb of ram! it is deffinately no fake!

  • @danieldvs100

Why would you even try that obscure funny operating system that came between xp and 7? 7 Only takes a few more resources than xp.

  • @2BunnyReturns u see, a regular person woulda been like "FUCK VISTA" and just tried 7. but me, i HAD to try it. its like watching a movie's sequel before seeing the movie. no matter horrible vista could be, i jus had to try it and see.

  • @danieldvs100

Okay gotcha. Does 7 feel "lighter" to you?

  • Whats really sad is that my ancient hp zt1250 that has about twice the specs as that (except the hard drive, which is 20GB) literally, cannot boot the install DVD. I just get a 0x000000A5 Stop error.

  • @2BunnyReturns

why don't you let it install with an usb-stick (if your bios can handle this) or over lan connection. i have installed it over my lan connection and it works pretty good!

  • @Julzen94

I never thought about that. I know it doesn't support USB booting (screwed around with that for several hours a while back), but it does support LAN booting, which I never thought about, but unfortunately I know nothing about. Could you point me in the direction of a tutorial of some kind?

  • @2BunnyReturns

so, here it is, you just need a second pc with a dvd drive:

    for questions, just ask

Here is the simplest way possible...on the machine that is not getting the installation extract the contents of the Windows 7 DVD to some folder that is then shared. On the computer that is getting the installation, head to that shared network location, run setup.exe, follow along probably doing a custom install. It will be a little slow most likely as it pulls the contents over the network.

  • @Julzen94

How do I share the folder on the server computer?

  • @2BunnyReturns

right click on the folder an than properties and in the new window you have to click on sharing options or sth. like this! i don't know the real names, i don't have windows in english!

  • @Julzen94

So just copy the contents of the DVD to another Windows machine into a shared folder and the BIOS will recognize the Windows File Sharing?

  • @2BunnyReturns

i am not really sure! i started the installation in Windows xp, which worked perfect for me.

  • @Julzen94

Well, what did you use to share the files?

  • @2BunnyReturns

nothing, you can set that at preferences!

  • @Julzen94

On the server computer, were you running windows? Did you just put all the setup files in a folder and hit "share"? What did you do? What did the files do at point "a" so that point "b" could find them?

  • @2BunnyReturns

you can also just share the whole dvd-drive! you can do this the same way like sharing a normal folder!

also i don't know if this works without any operating system on the client! for example windows xp would be helpfull! :)

  • @Julzen94

So you just right click on your DVD drive, hit "share", and on the client hit "boot from LAN"?

  • and that means my core2duo 2.2ghz and 2gb ram will be just fine for x64 ultimate, don't wanna waste money on more ram lol, even coz it's cheap :D

  • @lay4life

yes, that should work pretty good!

  • @lay4life

Oh, absolute overkill. You could even downgrade a bit to save some money.

  • im surprised that ur graphic works great... when i installed on my hp nc6230, the graphic was terrible... all the icons was darn big, and as if it was running on 253 colours (around there)...

  • @hAhan17

    that's mysterious ...

i didn't install any driver ... that was just windows 7!

  • @hAhan17

You probably need a driver - its not just gonna work by itself, LOL!

  • @hAhan17

    The drivers won't install themselves...

  • 8 gb of ram quad procceser and 800 $ video card is my new system with windows seven

  • this is cool

now i`m running win7 on my old computer>

    384 MB RAM, 1,6 GhZ , 16 MB Video

    it runs just great

    better than Windows XP SP2

  • @InfiniteSoft

i think just the RAM could be a problem after a while! 512 mb or 1 gb would be better!

  • @InfiniteSoft Stop writting shit like that , u lier.

  • @InfiniteSoft

    Same for me =]

    but the PC is an Atlhon xp 2200 + 1gb ram ddr400 + GF FX5500 + 80gb HD

people don't believe me when I say Win7 is faster than XP...

  • Funny, this runs faster than my

    Intel Core Duo @ 1.71Ghz/processor

    1GB of RAM

    On Vista Home Premium,

    :(

    Time to upgrade ;)

  • oh yes, i think so!

but after a while the system also will be slower than now!

  • Windows 7 is faster than Vista ;)

  • True that I have a Toshiba Satellite A105-S171 with an Intel Celeron M Processor running at 1.5 GB of RAM. I am currently dualbooting Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 SP3, and Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit edition. Windows 7 runs quite well but this computer never handled Vista too well.

  • Retard the ATI Rage is a 6.0 accelerator do your research or gtfo faggot.

  • This is windows 7 build 7200?

  • yes, it is!

  • I have windows xp on mine ) ; p3 yayayaya I subed(:

  • Well if you were using vista for year, you would see the similarity in the speed and etc. I used Win 7 form the beta and now have the real thing, but I can say in some case vista is better in some case 7, and 7 isin't faster then xp many people can say that...

  • its so funny to see the vista lovers trolling the hell out of windows 7 vids. they obviously never did enough research let alone tried 7 themselves. so they comment without even realizing that what they are saying is based on blind opinion and fear of change. I had low expectations for 7 until just the other day and i gotta say it really wowed me.

  • Well I like Vista more then 7. Win 7 isin't much faster then vista.... And vista looks better :) I eaven downgraded to vista :P

  • lol not much faster than vista vista is slower than xp and 7 is faster than xp. what are you talkin about. seriously dude youve either not done any research on this or you went to the wrong place . I had low expectations for windows 7 but i gotta say im actually very impressed with it, it actually stands at par with xp for gaming on a system with modest but now low specs, vista on the other hand is a ram pig along with several other undesirable features and problems

  • windows vista wouldnt run on that laptop you will need 384 mb ram to install and vista will play up so vista can go to hell

    windows 7 rocks your pc

  • to install windows 7 you also need 512 mb of ram, you have to replace a special file for installing it with 256 mb ram!

generally you are right! *thumbs up*

  • windows7 is the shites operating system my comp has vista and its way faster that that shit old 7

  • that isn't possible, the windows 7 system is way better than vista, just compare the boottime!

  • i have windows 7 on my acer aspire SA20

with 1gb ram 64mb graphics card with windows 2000 driver, audio realtek ac97 with vista driver the computer has 2.66 Ghz intel celeron and i is faster than vista

  • how much hard drive space does windows 7 use?

  • i don't really know, i think it was about 5 gb ?! correct me if that isn't right, but i hope it is!

  • 7 is way better than vista. vista was horribly laggish on just 512mb. i installed windows 7 over vista and it runs like how vista would on 1gb

  • Yeh man i have 2 laptops one with vista and one with 7 on it and there the exact same laptops with 1.50GB of ram and i recently installed the OS's on them like 2 days ago as a side project and vista takes 5 mins to load up. 7 takes 43 seconds to load up. big defference.

  • not bad

  • thx

  • how long did it took to instal

  • i think if you have a dvd drive it's about 30 to 40 minutes!

  • How you did that? - On patched WIndows setup files? Cheers

  • yes, i downloaded a always cracked file!
