The best way to stop water getting into your home is to stop paying the water bills. I had a problem with water pouring into my house through taps and showers, i stopped paying the bills and they dont leak at all now, I turn the taps on now and everything stays nice and dry, no flooding water getting through. Happy days.
Holy cow it’s an old TPO system LOL. We call single ply "Tarp Systems". Think about it, a manufactured plastic tarp that is mechanically fastened and heat welded at the seams.
@Blankmania Surprisely it worked. But I was subletting only for 4 months so I don't know what happened after. I passed by the bulding last week, and there were people working on the roof. So it only took the landlord 2+ years before letting the professionals fix it.
does it work

They're to hold down the plastic tarp when it gets windy. Its probably filled with sand or dirt.
