Well, after the incentives, it wil cost $15k. They have to drill verticel as my loot is not large enough or spaced out for horizontal. So I am going the other rout. They said its best to put one in on a new construction. O well.
Drilling is what can kill the Geothermal for you. I was told over the phone that it could cost $20,000 to put one in becuase of the drilling vertically. Small loot is not helpful. Sad, as I would love to have this.
The best thing to do if you're interested in looking at geothermal is to make sure the dealer comes to your home and does a proper energy analysis and site survey. Once they have the system properly sized and designed, they can give you the most accurate costs. With all the new financing and incentives, it might not be as far off as you might think. Thanks for your interest. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Thanks! We know there's a lot of questions when it comes to the technology, so we try to cover all the bases and not make it too complicated.
