sootch...did you get the tail switch to work on this flashlight? i got the same flashlight and purchased the tail switch but it does not work

From what I've read, the scalloped bezels were originally for hand-free use--you set them down lens first on a table or whatever, and the light coming through the scalloped openings can then be used. Using it for self-defense would be a secondary feature.

I love that triple tooth bezel, it makes the flashlight look more like a lightsaber....and now my inner geek has shown  hehe.

I'd assume having a flashlight as bright as that on the end of a rifle would potentially be blinding for the operator. You don't get much reflection coming off of the rifle and back in your eyes?

@neanderthor66 There is not really any noticable reflection. The bright light does blind an adversary. Law Enforcement and Military units have used this style lighting for years so it has it's merits. Thanks~

I just bought this mount two days ago with a Klarus XT11. There wasn't much info on it, this vid helps a lot. I just hope it will fit the XT11.

@Amak503 I'm getting ready to review the Klarus X11 so I checked the bezel with the Jetbeam Large Teeth and it doesn't fit. The Klarus Bezel is pretty good regardless.

I don't own any guns, but you've sold me on needing an ATTACK LIGHT! I want to ask though, what's the main purpose of that flashlights teeth thing? It doesnt seem like you can bayonet someone with it because of the barrel being in the way?

@Mortaxe A crenulated bezel protects the lens and when face down lets you know your light is still on but Large Crenulated Bezels can be used as an impact weapon to apply at pressure points in case you get into trouble. More of a non lethal option.
