I think its funny when people say they've lost some sort of emotion. They're having more fun on stage than they ever have and playing the song great. I still wish he'd sing the high part, he kind of quit sometime around the Machina phase, wonder what happened to the voice that sang Glynis? But still. I think people are always going to try and figure out what's "wrong" with Billy because he's such a dynamic character. Hes just a lifelong experimentalist is all, but the speculation is funny.

I went to the show in Utah and they were very far from stale. After the show, Jimmy started throwing shit at people, Corgan was dancing around the entire show and kissed us all off. The playing was about a million times better than this show. It was pretty amazing.

James was a huge part of the band. Without James, there wouldn't be the Pumpkins that we know today, let alone the fact that there might not have been the Pumpkins at all. He's also helped write Soma as well as plenty of other songs including Mayonaise. Mayonaise flat out wouldn't exist without James.

It's incredibly foolish to say that James didn't contribute anything worthwhile to the band. He was a quirky, funny member whose spot will never be completely filled.
