i dont think id ever fight this girl she is quite the good fighter and i am a boy and i wouldnt be ashamed to lose to this girl because she is quite the good fighter
@madmax07462 stacking is when you distribute your weight on top of the person. If your about 150 you feel like they are 200lb or over. When you stack on someone while they have the triangle on you , most likely its a bad idea anyway. If they know what they are doing , they will immediately grab the leg that has more pressure on it and just make you fall to the side. Stacking is good when your in someones side control or half guard. Really makes them tired.
not really impressed when its a "girl taps a boy" scenario. thts y jiujitsu is so effective. it doesnt matter how big or how strong u are. technique conquers.
Yeah, not even he can slam someone who hooks it in in the right way, people don't do that for some reason (he is too quick and strong, and they are scared)
well the best defense to locked legs round ur neck is using brute strength to pick them up n slam them or u stack them up to relieve pressure till u can get out...id love to get a match against her just cuz im good about defending when im on top in sumbodys guard
Or you could....oh I don't know...use technique to escape. Generally that type of slam would disqualify you in a straight jiu jitsu tournament, it's legal in MMA though. It is actually quite easy to defend the slam, simply hook the leg of the opposite arm trapped in the triangle. If done properly, you can not be picked up, and usually the person falls over, more deeply into the triangle than before.
You have to posture or stack when they are still trying to lock it. The boy had a chance to break it when she was readjusting but he didn't take it. Once a triangle is fully looked in and you are pulling the head down stacking just tightens it
what your saying is absolutely true but I have to point out that the boy still could have escaped because though the triangle was on it wasnt on the exactly right way. you can see her leg thats choking isnt across his neck instead it cuts down his back meaning if he simply turns his head to his left he would have plenty of room to breathe and work to get out. but they are young and probably new at it so you live and learn. nice match though kid has skills
You've got balls Jen. It's good to see a girl smash the boys at their own game. More of it I say. Imagine how humiliated and psychologically tortured he would have been afterwards. It will torment him for years! LOL.
@tattle66: While this is true to an extent, I see equal grapplers trade taps all, and the weight always differs. The point is though, that a girl can beat a guy, and there's nothing to be ashamed of. She was a better competitor this day, and thus performed more efficiently.
keep up the good work but if my son ever has 2 match up with a girl he knows 2 treat her like a boy if she wants 2 play with boys treat her like 1 thats why most boys would lose 2 a girl there coach didnt tell them that chances are but she is very good keep it up
i competed at this event. this was like almost two years ago i think. i remember that girl. she was REALLY good. she had a match with this other boy that very fun to watch because they were both very technical.
This is why I LOVE BJJ. Sex, age, strength all neutralized by superior technique. She set up the triangle beautifully from gaurd, adjusted herself and locked it in perfect. No way for him to stack that. You go girl!
the girl did very well, so respect to her, and good job.
With that said..
The boy was pathetic, he made no attempt whatsoever to escape.
He sat back on the choke, pretty much helping her..

Girls try their best to dominate boys , even as young as 12.
Is that why they practise Martial Arts skills.

Nice. Although someone as light as her would get slammed rampage style very easily in an MMA match.
XMinister 1 year ago
Oh really, would she get slammed?
Did not know young girls around 12 competed in MMA matches.
greg0058 1 year ago 2
At that age there is almost no difference between boys and girls in terms of strength. Skill and experience will come to the fore very quickly.

Im a guy and a huge mma fan and I am not upset. It is all about technique and skills. The boy was probably physically stronger but lacked skills

What is "stacking" and how is it done?
madmax07462 2 years ago
Picking up the hips of your opponent above their head. It puts lots of pressure on their neck and makes it hard to use their legs against you.

Thanks

Hmm I had the same idea but I think pounding someone on the floor is against the rules of wrestling, she could get critically injured.
chetansarkar 2 years ago
It's evident that she has far more experience and training. If he had more training he could have escaped.
tattle66 3 years ago
I agree, he missed his chance to break the lock, when she readjusted. Oh well, his amateur mistake. Someone else could have suceeded where he failed.

you'll need alot of power to counter a triangle choke. (simply pick them up and slam them)

just posture up or stack them, simple.

This is yet another proof that it doesn't matter how big and strong you are in grappling, it matters how good you are with technique.
Technique > Size
aqplaya92 4 years ago 21
True to a point; however, strength and good technique will trumb technique alone. You won't find a women, however skilled, defeating top-notched men.

It didn't look real. The guy couldn't have had to submit to that skinny little 70 pound girl. No way!

True. Girls mature physically about three years earlier than boys but once fully mature, a man is stronger than a woman, physically.

At this age, the girls are as strong as the boys, but more flexible. They also rely on technique rather than on the strength, and oftenly win.
