  • i want to ask is it great for games like modern combat 3 and others

  • should i buy these or the Samsung Galaxy 7.0 Plus?

  • and a couple months later the tablet is $300 and the pen is less than &20 can you say in the mail now

  • best buy is now bundling the pen with the tab so now its just 500 dollars for the whole set. and the honeycomb update is guaranteed because it is receiving the update with all of the other 7 inch tablets (notice how not one 7 inch has honeycomb yet). this deal is beyond perfect and i dont know why people are complaining about it

  • @ShirtlessRabbit4 at the time of your comment, the acer iconia a100 was a 7 inch tablet that had honeycomb. maybe you should research before you make false statements

  • The pen was repriced to $40

  • the pen is stupid id buy this without the pen MAYBE cuz I think the iPad is a much better investment

  • Does it have Gorilla Glass? REALLY not worth buying if it doesn't, imo.

  • And God said to Noah, I give you this tablet, don't break it with thy pen!

  • @ucheucheuche *facepalm*

  • fail...

  • How do you borrow products from companies? How much do you have to pay to borrow them?I mean'you can"t buy the tablets and review them you"d go bankrupt! So how do you do it?

  • @xoom1712 the companies send the devices for reviews, then techno buffalo send it back.....sometimes

  • Noah, how do you borrow tablets and phones from companies? How much do you hs

  • the weight there should have got the weight under 400 grams but as it stands there only 50grams difference with the Galaxy tab 10.1, then htc aiming to get honeycomb installed run into a few problems and settle with Gingerbread, who in there right mind believes Htc wanted Gingerbread as there main Os, if it had Honeycomb it would have had a much better fight in the Market, the day Htc release honeycomb which I doubt, should be the day I even consider the flyer...

  • Noah please review the nokia e6 for the old times when you used to like the nokia e71 c:

  • so you have to carry the pen around too? is there no slot in the Flyer to put it in? damn i lose my pencils everyday so theres no way im buyin the pen

  • technobuffalo sucks

  • whats the point of the pen if its to fucking scribble. esp. for 80 dollars.

  • @thestuffer69 exactly

  • gift of hair. totally know where you're coming from haha

  • Great

  • Are there any e-textbooks out right now that people actually read?

  • ...why would anybody in the world buy this? its the size of two phone. people really are stupid.

  • Yeah, when I played with it in best buy, it wasn't working as well as I like. So far Ipad, Acer, Asus, and the new comers are looking good.

  • why is everyone crying about the pen being $80. apple charges $70 just for a leather "smart cover"

  • @MatchedANDY lol but is from Apple its "revolutionary" so everyone gets it anyway

  • HTC Flyer WiFI to nice for words.

  • HTC all the way

    but the pens to expensive

  • aaaalright.... now back to Windows 8 :D

  • Great Website! jack threads (DoT) com/invite/theone AMAZING DEALS

  • This pen would be awesome for Fruit Ninja!

  • does anyone else's gaydar go off every time they see noah?

  • Thumbs Up if your the 7,001 viewer.

  • sloooooooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww poooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooke

  • wouldnt it be a better idea to get an ipad and then buy a stylus for 15 bucks

  • @weegregrfc there are no real ipad styluses

  • Search on Android market --> pub:"Alpha Application"

  • I don't know if it is the same than the one in europe. But we got the Pen with de device. For around 499€ for the Wifi version.

  • I had a chance today to buy any tablet, and I chose the flyer. The damn is just perfect for me. I like how I can put it my pocket and its light. And HTC sense is very polished

  • i want this purely to draw on...but i might use the other features...

  • In australia this will run me about $800--850 and the pen about $160

  • sniff...sniff in the beginning. i wonder why???? ;)

  • Well, accidental screenshots has been confirmed. I agree, more functionality would be great. Otherwise, it looks good.

  • i think htc released the pen unfinished so that they can get feedback and even get some copyright on it.

  • lol i love how in every tab review you do you so its your faverite.

  • How are you doing? How would you recommend this for a college student? I find the pen and tablet a very inventive idea because (I think) I could directly write notes right over my slide show -- please correct me if I'm wrong. If you wouldn't recommend the flyer, what tablet would you recommend for a medical college student? Thanks!

  • @c21johnson College student? Inevetive?

  • @fredwasnothere No. Inventive.

  • for $ 499 + $80 (even that I have a weakness for android) I would still prefere a tablet like the iPad or an other one...

  • About the E-Reader and using the pen to highlight....uhh, you can do that without an overpriced pen with the Amazon Kindle app (better store too)

  • I just don't feel that the Android OS is as polished as iOS, whether it be on a tablet or a phone. I've used both, and even use an Android phone right now. But I don't feel that Android is still all the way there yet, as a whole.

  • 7:58 Thas what she said :P

  • dude, my school haven't even heard about tablets , we just got new dell computers with flat screens.. but yeah im glad that in the future these things would be possible to exploit in the study system

  • The clicking sound in unbearable

  • this helped me to choose thx noah

  • it sounds like the pen is doing damage to the tablet...

  • I use the Griffin iPad stylus: It was $9.00 and works great for all the note taking and highlighting

  • The pen seems stupid... Wanna hear a joke, android tablets right now

  • iPad wannabe.

  • The pen looks quite gimmicky as opposed to really useful.

  • i like your blouse Noah, teehee

  • Wanna hear a joke?

    iPad 2.

  • @GettindownSK1 hahah indeed.. comparing such a shitty thing like the flyer with the iPAd 2 is indeed a joke

  • @GettindownSK1 trolololololololol

  • @jon4lakers Hi, nice review! But I was wandering what the quality of the audio recordings are. They marketed this device as perfect for taking notes, whilst recording the audio and they added the functionality of being able to go back to the exact audio when you were taking that note. I really thought that would come in handy when taking notes during lectures, but if the recording of the audio isn't clear enough, or the quality is poor, than I won't bother with it.

  • I love the porno music at the end!

  • the intro in part is so phonedog can u just start part 2 directly

  • I think for people who don't buy expensive screen protectors the pen will scratch up the protectors pretty bad. I'd hate having one all scratched up or having to keep replacing them. But that's just what in think, it looks cool, and all though android is my main choice, but for school iPad is best, I love it

  • Lol no one mentions iPad 2 any more ???

  • @tiborwolf96 iPad 2.

  • @HyyRisque hahahaha :D

  • @HyyRisque dude, iPad 2 is no where compared to this device, its a few generations behind

  • good job noah

  • and hows the speaker quality of the device?? :P

  • htc did a good job with the pen but $80 is too much

  • stupid pen that actually doesnt worth that much . scalpers !!

  • I know he said "ask" at 6:12 but because the pen is so expensive my mind went "ass".

  • but will it blend?

  • @jayroalvarez Please attempt! =]

  • whats up with almost entire "review" being about a $80 pen?

  • @csos95 because that pen is what makes this tablet unique

  • i never even knew this came out so im gonna go buy one now cus of this review,

  • Ports? Speaker Quality? Outside visibility? Where's all that stuff?

  • Good review. Pen is a ripoff. I wonder how heavy it is... Since 7in ain't my thing

  • what's the point of using the flyer outside...can barely see the screen.

  • well i am sure the pen will wreck the screen eventually

  • Wow, nice tablet!

  • It should be cheaper than the iPad 2 tbh, I don't think this will sell as people want Honeycomb or iPad 2 and the pen thing is cool but when people see that the pen is nearly 20% of the price of the tablet, they'll but the iPad/Honeycomb tablet.

  • Yeea noooo

  • Galaxy Tab 10.1 Awwwww yeahhhh

  • the pen would really come in handy when using sketchbook

  • I'm so glad I bought the ASUS Transformer instead!

  • where is the console war ???????????!!!!!!!!!!

  • No way 80$ for a pen?

  • 80$ for a pen???? relly htc? with prices like that id take my chances stealing the damn thing before i shell out 80 bucks for a pen

  • @g35crazy HTC is trying to be like Apple.

  • @g35crazy LOL calm down if someone Carries it like Sprint they can make it 500$ with pen :)

  • @g35crazy look at apple

  • "stay golden pony boy."

  • You can have my hair noah

  • i like my playbook

  • go make a account at crispycracker(dot)webs(dot)com to be entered in a 10mil giveaway dont use your same rs pw and username

  • HTC please put out a release date for the evo 3D!!!!!

  • @wip3myAZZ June 24th

  • @wip3myAZZ 24th june ?

  • @S4Technician is that the official date from sprint??

  • @wip3myAZZ Yes you know you want it hard ;)

  • @S4Technician i know!!! :D

  • I had an idea for a better way to activate a screenshot.

What if you could simultaneously press the camera and shake the device?

  • just read a fuckin book jesus

  • Thr price kills it for me honestly. Altogether to get the full functionality with the stylus is $580. An iPad is $500. Why would I spend $80 for a tablet running an old OS, a smaller screen, and has no developers developing apps for it's form factor and OS?

  • @NJMetsHero the flyer is actually 100 dollars cheaper the ipad a 32 gb flyer is 500 and a 32 gb ipad is 600..also the flyer has a better processor

  • @YSynergyY Either way, $580 to me is not worth it. Too limited. I'd rather get a 16GB iPad 2 if I was going to buy a tablet.

  • @YSynergyY

It's tiny and heavy, no thanks.

  • I wonder if other digitizer pens work on the flyer (I have an old tablet PC, would be cool if it worked).

  • $80! For a stylus!

  • 80 dollars for a pen? GAWD...

  • The pen is only an additional extra in the US from BestBuy. The US 3G and other markets WiFi and 3G versions all come with the pen

  • Flyer is $500!? WHAT!? it can't even do HD.....smaller screen than iPad...iPad has more apps.....man the ONLY reason anyone would buy the HTC Flyer is if they were an apple hater!

  • @DvdXploitr Android apps run better on tablets than iPhone apps on the iPad

  • @DvdXploitr No, someone would buy this over the ipad for it's advantages for what they need. For someone like you who would want hd and more apps, they would get the ipad. For someone who wants android(better multitasking and notification system until we see what's in iOS), htc sense, and pen functionality (for $80 more) would get the flyer. It really just depends on what you need it for.

  • @DvdXploitr

Or.. they would buy it if they wanted a one-handed device, needed pen support, and wanted the functionality and customization of Android.

  • Flyer or ipad at same price ???

  • I want a Flyer, when its price drops... Untill then, I'm looking at the Honykomb Tablets or the Ipad....

  • pen is just fail so big

  • downside to the pen is when you lose it

  • Pen is a waste of money because it doesn't do that much and the plastic tip seems like it would scratch way to easily

  • The clicking noise really bugs me, but other than that the pen looks really helpful.

  • Review starts at 0:29

  • beautiful

  • looking for some serious battle field bad company 2 players on the PS3 only PM me if you want to play. NOTE this is not a clan try out

  • HTC sure are running out of names..

  • Under my Fly there is a Magic Pen, too!

  • WILL IT BLEND?

  • @berrycoolvideos Most likely

  • i feel like when it comes to 7 inch tablets the playbook is still the best

  • i really hate the clicking sound of the pen on the screen.
