  • lovin it

  • They're songs like ALWAYS hella like make me cry from inside! Bursting open with truth of admitting the fawk'n truth of feeling!

  • This may just be my favorite The Cure song.

  • I don't get why people don't like this ablum in general? Why? Someone please tell me!! I know it's not as dark but come on!!

  • People can hate this album all they want. I love it. I've listened to them for a looong time, and their evolution is exciting to me

  • perfect , im a fan all over again :) its like he lives my life?

  • this song will be playing during my first kiss.<3

I'm still looking for that special girl..

  • @guitargczr699 Good luck bro ! ;)

  • The cure.......you always have a something sweet words about love and all is about the feel... on your songs, its Great!..

  • I love all cure tunes i've been a fan of them since 1987

  • Listen to The Top. :)

  • the cure is the cure!!! nomatter how pop thay can get

  • no matter what they said the cure is one of the bands that still are not infected whit all that shit of music industry of today the cattchi song are popular just because peoplee like them and they hear over an over again and make it so popular but that doesn't mean that roberth sit on his chair and says ok let's make a pop song to make records that earns lots of money NAh he just love what he does and hope that people find his work inspirational because is his inspiration and his pasion.

  • yes the music has evolved, but i feel like somewhere somehow ill always be like 15/ 16 yo listening to Kiss me kiss me kiss me and standing by the ocean, wish, head on the door in my bedroom. it ws very interestingn to come of age to this kind of music, wouldn't trade it for the world

  • I love this album! I think it really captures that the essence of The Cure is back, this album is so cute! is so THE CURE!

The thing i love the most about The Cure is that i can listen to them when I'm angry (albums like Faith and Pornography), and really happy (albums like Wish, KMKMKM, and now 4.13 dream) and in all my wild mood swings :)

I always have a The cure song for every moment in my life! that's something only Robert and The Cure can gave me.

  • Si hay algo que realmente siempre me gusto de The Cure, y Robert es la forma de transmitir un monton y diferentes sensaciones en sus canciones.

No solo melancolia, sino muchisimas.

    jest the cure

  • SO GOOD.

  • wow reading these posts make me feel like im the only one who actually truely LOVES this album... haha but i do like the others, this one is one of my all time favs... but i havent heard all of them yet im still new to the discovery of their wonderfullness hahaha

  • If anyone is interested in listening to music with this type of style feel free to check out "set it free" by after affect

  • I bought this album and after listening to it a billion times i wrote some songs. A lot of those songs i wrote wreek of 4:13 dream :>

  • I couldn't imagine a The Cure without Simon Gallup...

  • bellissima!the cureeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee <3

  • You gotta love the flow of this song and the lyrics , very weird so typical Cure !

  • Loved the album, but I think most of you forget albums like The Cure or Wild mood wings, albums that, yes, in the overall are not at the same level of Disintegration (best IMO) but contain the greatest lyrics Robert ever wrote. Must be hard to balance the music with the lyrics, you know, to make justice to the words that mean so much to you. And it's normal not to deliver in most cases. But that doesn't change the fact that are fucking great lyrics, with profund meanings. LIke this song.

  • Ok guys... I'm 15. I've been listening to The Cure for about 4 years now. Gotta say, they have changed, yes. But can you honestly say it's a bad change?

  • @MrRisingScepter of course is not a bad change! If you are a fan, you can understand every feeling that Robert spread through their songs

  • @ayeplant91 Thank you!!! If you don't like or understand this song, I really don't think you're a Cure fan. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, but Christ...this is a good song!!! Theres more than the dark side of The Cure!!!

  • @yetibait01 totally agree with you, I love every little song of The Cure, is my favorite band ever!

  • Rob Smith is not a GOd, he's been a very LUCKY BOY, so that every ones should'nOT like the way he sometimes !judges! or takes positions on fucking matters...

NO JUDGEMENTS ANYWAY. The world is neither fair nor UNFAIR , wise words....

  • The Cure are serious business

  • oh men i like this song is perfect

  • I love "Wish".

  • this really touches me all The Cure stuff is amazing!!

  • best album, after disintegration 1989

  • definitely faith is a brilliant album. All cats are grey and funeral party are extraordinary

  • lalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalalalalalalalalalalalalaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!

  • yea boris gives the cure more of a feeling, jason seems to be a temporary fill in

  • i love the cures new album 4:13 dream

it so amazing and just as good as there old stuff

    AMAZING:D

  • I don't know about you guys, but I've listened to some of the Cure's other albums - mind you I'm not great fan, and I think I like some of the songs on this album the best. They just seem so vibrant and a little bit off, not quite right, and paradoxically that makes a good song to me.

  • Listen carefuly to 'Pornography' album. Beware that you will reject all the songs as soon as you start to listen them... They are weird, heavy and very deep.

That's what The Cure is all about.

The 4:13 is just another Robert Smith piece of art. Good but not the best. The masterpieces are Pornography and of course Disintegration.

  • I loveeeeeee Disintegration!

  • i agree. i also consider Faith to be a very underrated album. a masterpiece, and a great pre-cursor to pornography

  • @ruimelo73 you cant judge art made by another since the art is made for the creator of it not for a fictional audiance

  • @ruimelo73 what about Faith?

  • @ruimelo73 i totally approve you. however i think that one more masterpiece of theirs is Seventeen Seconds

  • @ruimelo73 Yes, Pornography and Disintegration are often cited as their best albums... but what about The Top? "Shake Dog Shake" is a *brilliant* song.

  • @sugarandspice4815 one song doesn't make an album.

  • @gnzvideos Okay... there's also "Wailing Wall", "The Caterpillar", "The Empty World", etc. It's definitely one of the more experimental albums, but it has some great tunes.

Although... I actually think The Head on the Door is their best work overall.

  • @sugarandspice4815 Yes. The Head on the Door is an album you can listen to, without "lifting the needle up" (that comes from the vinyl days...).

  • @ruimelo73 totally agree!!!

  • @ruimelo73

I don't completely agree.I am a huge 'The Cure' fan since I am 14 years old and I still listen to them every day. They have music for every mood I'm in.I almost like all their albums in the same way but for different reasons except for 'Bloodflowers' that I really don't like. But 12 masterpieces on 13 studioalbums is very high standard I would say...

  • good song, not the best, regular album.bad producction

  • The problem with Jason : his no inventive "large patterns" and not swinging tempo " like Boris. But the principal stuff is the drum sound , Boris play in 80s with deep processed sounds, that kind of d sound mix better with the dark and suspended cure's style. I think the "excesive natural" drum sound of jason is responsability of the producer vision and ok this sound sucks for the cure style.

  • The only problems I have with 4:13 Dream is a couple songs are pretty forgettable and the production. It sounds like your hearing it under water.

  • Since Jason joined the band The Cure began to decline more and more. The thing is that Jason is not inspiring! he is just there going with the flow and bringing nothing to the table.

His drumkit sounds bad, his technique is bad, his way to play the cymbals sucks and is always nervous and playing soft and weak.

THE CURE NEEDS A REAL DRUMMER. PERIOD.

  • bring back Boris Williams

  • The Cure never disappoints, i end up liking every album, theres an album for each of the phases i went to and my favorites will have to be three imaginary boys, disintegration, and pornography. but i also love every other album cuz The Cure can change, but they cannot disappoint

  • @brianmoon10 thats true, 'those who dont change are bound to perish" isnt that ture.

  • y0ure swedish?? that r0cks!!

  • I agree with you. Boris needs to come back. BUT as far as the style of the new album I think the drumming works with it. But it isn't any Disintegration.

  • the only good drumming of jason is on "the cure " album. There , at my opinion, is the real jason . Maybe is beacuse ross robinson was very into the drum sounds, maybe because jason was inspired. In this album he plays like a session man

  • hey , but , well , I dont think that jason cooper is not inspired , if he joined to "the cure" that means that he is a great drummer! well , thats all I wanted to say.

  • I lisen to Robert´s words for about 10 years. It almost hurts to see how The Cure has changed... Robert Smith once was my god but now I have to close my eyes and listen to Disintegration or Faith to get the feelings i once had. Too much pop, less melancholy and his voice is too loud in my view. Once it was great, worldshaking music, for what the fans liked them. I know that bands have to develop but it´s hard to face this fact in this case.

  • I know what you mean, Faith and Pornography are my favourite albums by the Cure but I don't mind the more poppy stuff at times, like the new album. Besides there's supposedly a dark companion coming out in the new year...

  • How can you dare! He is human, just like us all,and if you made him your GOD(how stupid) its your own problem. He's always been so many facettes and if you only put him on his melancholy you didn't understand anything of Robert or the Cure....The poppy songs are also him as his dark and melancholic ones.If you need a GOD go to any religion you like,THE CURE ARE STILL HUMAN!Wonderful, gorgeous very loved but HUMANS!!

  • great comment AlwaysCure13. Not to mention that Pornography and im sure Disintegration were inspired by personal turbulent times. Like AlwaysCure13 says you cant expect a human band to make extremely emotional songs all the time, it would physically kill them. What is amazing though is that in those turbulent times Robert was able to capture the feelings through songs. its amazing the emotion they still cause. but yeah lets be realistic and not only that everything changes all the time! peace!

  • I'm not saying anything like that, I can understand that Robert and the Cure are human and I can understand that they have written some of the best pop songs over the past 3 decades, all I'm saying is that for me, I lean more towards the darker and more melancholic side of the Cure most of the time, however I do enjoy almost every song the Cure have ever produced, I do own every album...

  • @AlwaysCure13 Dude chill out Jesus freak. Not everyone cares about God like you, relax. My "gods" are all muscians. They're the people that mean something to me. Seriously relax.

  • @TyMan1229 I dont know why you call me a jesus freak...seems to me you understood nothing of wha i wrote i got nothing to do with jesus....if you dont know what its about just shut up and listen carefully instead of writing such stupid infantil things

  • @antfreek A jesus freak is someone who gets crazy about their Christianity and gods or whatever. All i told you to do is relax. Its Youtube, no gives a shit about what you believe in. And to some people, musicians are Gods. Just relax and get over it

  • @DieSchwarzeEva

you have to realise that many people like their other stuff more than the melancoly stuff. personally i love it all, a song like this gives me a feelgood factor, disintergration gives me a deep feeling, both are good

  • @DieSchwarzeEva Absolutely agreed!

  • @DieSchwarzeEva i know i agree

  • dying rn. I love this song.

Its a shame so few people my age know the Cure. They're so good.

  • how old are you?

  • 14.

  • you are one cool 14 year old

  • amen from a 15 year old :]

  • Best song off the new album - can't stop listening to it - oh sooo gooood

  • seriously. how amazing is this song.

  • Best chorus of the album if you ask me.

  • the way it builds is just gorgeous

  • @EdHeadster we didn't ask you

  • @rodrigosz97 It's rare that anyone asks someone to comment on a video isn't it? If you'd read properly, you would have noticed that someone made a comment that was directed towards me so I replied with my views. I suppose there's some truth in your comment, as you say 'we' didn't ask you which states that 'you' were involved in this aswell but seeing as though you weren't, 'we' (meaning you) didn't ask me anything so that's right. One of the most moronic youtube comments I've ever read...

  • @EdHeadster the music

  • @rodrigosz97 the music
