@nelsonwilby unfortunately, all the CIA ladies were really lame, unattractive, and relatively bad actresses- maybe that was BBC's way of expressing their opinion of americans in general. (this show does make me crack up in terms of how CIA is portrayed-it's probably quite accurate) Of course they were paired up with the hottest MI-5 guys though. This made me uncomfortable watching all the romantic scenes.

Start with the first episode of series 5, as it is a two parter, and will leave them wanting more

well, the first episode continues from season 2, but apart from the that, the other nine episodes are stand alone, so you can start there. Season three is the season that won the Bafta, so it's a good place to start

German accent is okay. I like the way it has lots of sssss's and ch sounds in it. I speak English but German is a language that I am learning to speak just so that I can speak and use those unique German sounding sounds. It is a fun language to speak. Russian is like someone speaking with their tongue and teeth swishing past each other. I am learning that one too because I want to teach people who speak other languages. Learn a language and broaden your horizons.
