love the mid to late 70s rare unreleased neil young stuff in bad quality... it just gives me the chills. this is why n.y. will always be the greatest songwriter, composer of all time (to me).
@Nyahmen You're welcome, the rare stuff is my favourite, what's really cool is that the original releases of songs from the ditch trilogy: Tonight's the Night and On The Beach were all cluttered together...For the Turnstiles, Walk On were both meant to be released on Tonight's the Night. Unfortunately, Traces, Bad Fog of Loneliness, and Winterlong were all cut out completely. I used to have Winterlong posted from this era but it was taken down- copyright claim. Ok I'll stop talking now lol.
@rogerjazzfan I hold that the 70's were neil's golden years. After the Gold Rush, Harvest, Time Fades Away, Tonight's the Night, On the Beach, Zuma, American Stars n Bars, Rust Never Sleeps, Live Rust- you'd be hard-pressed to find a bad song. No fillers. It's difficult to find any other artists with such musical integrity.
Where do you get this stuff? Just beautiful
