@ellie3637 Yes. And I've read that if your worms are not eating a lot of the scraps you put in the bing, it could be that the scraps have become too acidic (usually due to too many citrus scraps) and adding egg shells can help make the mixture less acidic.
i'm sorry but this man doesn't know anything about worm composting! i'm not commenting all the errors but it starts with the box! Worms don't like light and you NEVER put meat in a wormery!!! AWFULL!!!
@Sara1030 i thought that myself i have many bins and they are dark, your never to use something that the light shines though . they wont like it. there was no drain that i saw or did i miss something.

Bad worm farm! Too light, no drainage, and you do have to be choosy. No onion or citrus as the acid burns them.
No well made worm farm should ever get "smelly".
