Don't listen to those who say you are not pretty or ugly. It matters in the inside. Be the better person no matter if you have Big glasses or a head brace. You are beautiful. There's a difference between being pretty, and being pretty inside. Look in your heart and tell God how you're not pretty inside.

2 days ago... I broke out in a major allergic reaction...causing huge red blotches every where on my body, I'm still in this state... eyes swollen, and just look horrible all around. I saw this music video tonight on TV, and I nearly just cried... It's hard being a girl and wanting to be "beautiful".. but this song reminded me that beauty lies within and not onthe outward. no matter how horrible I look on the inside, Jesus sees me beautiful becuase He sees the inside. Where has this been all my life?! It would have made overcoming my self-image issues easier!! It feel like the "You" in this song is the real you, the inner you, your spirit and mind. And then it did not help to be violated by a stanger around the time I was ten. Ever since then, I have been fat and ugly so I will never be beautiful to me or anyone else. The weight became a wall that I put up to keep guys away. And it worked too. When I saw Nichole in this video I thought, Wow! she is so beautiful. She must have beautiful children too.

I always blame myself for things, but someone showed me this song and it related to me so much that I cried and cried. Sometimes I do what will make man happy, and not God, but this song made me change. Part os 1samuel 16:7 says: Man looks at the outward apperance, but God looks at the heart. So really, what do looks play in out lives, mostly they cause us pain and grief, but real beauty is amazing.

Not everyone I know struggles with their looks, well, because their really beautiful, or they have a boyfriend to tell them that. This is something I really struggle to remind myself. I've always had difficulty liking what I see in the mirror. Even though all I see is what makes me look "disgusting" (to me), my husband still tells me I'm beautiful, and I know that God is trying to tell me too. I just wish I could see myself the way God and my husband do.

this song is so inspiring for me b/c im a teenage girl and i deal with image issues all the time. at least once a day i criticize something about my appearance and its hard to remember that what's on the outside doesnt matter. and its hard b/c the school system and doctors are always going on about how you have to be in a specific weight category and it just degrades people but this song lifts me up and its beautiful and it reminds you that you are beautiful.

A great song, but so much more to see Nichole Nordeman singing something. She had disappeared for a number of years, and I am happy to see her well, and praising God through her amazing voice. @AchildoftheKING1000 I'll be your friend, I had the same trouble and it really doesn't feel good. I always blame myself for things, but someone showed me this song and it related to me so much that I cried and cried. Sometimes I do what will make man happy, and not God, but this song made me change. Part os 1samuel 16:7 says: Man looks at the outward apperance, but God looks at the heart. So really, what do looks play in out lives, mostly they cause us pain and grief, but real beauty is amazing.

Not everyone I know struggles with their looks, well, because their really beautiful, or they have a boyfriend to tell them that. But I do struggle with them, so when I look at them, I wish I could be more like them, so when I listened to this song, I realized, if everyone in the world should look pretty, God would of made us that way, and I also realized that beauty doesn't matter as much as we all think, and that God loves us just the way we are, and that we created us in his own image, right?

This is something I really struggle to remind myself. I've always had difficulty liking what I see in the mirror. Even though all I see is what makes me look "disgusting" (to me), my husband still tells me I'm beautiful, and I know that God is trying to tell me too. I just wish I could see myself the way God and my husband do.

this song is so inspiring for me b/c im a teenage girl and i deal with image issues all the time. at least once a day i criticize something about my appearance and its hard to remember that what's on the outside doesnt matter. and its hard b/c the school system and doctors are always going on about how you have to be in a specific weight category and it just degrades people but this song lifts me up and its beautiful and it reminds you that you are beautiful.

For anyone who wants the song, it will be on "Sweetpea Beauty Songs for Girls" and it will be out on the same day the movie comes out, probably July 31st.
