Questions for you please. Have you ever put a movie on an SD card and tried to play it? Is the browser a full browser (not just the a mobile browser)?
@ti994apc Yes all the videos I play are off the SD card. You can get different browsers actually and the are full. Dolphin HD is a good one along with Opera
Hello there, no this version is just Android. There are Launchers that can make it look quite a bit like Windows 7, but it's not as good as the Android Launchers. I will have a new video shortly because of the new Firmware Upgrade I have been using, it's really impressive.
@MissCpFreaks No it has Android 2.2 on it. These little netbooks can't handle Windows 7. If you'd like one with Windows 7 you'll have to buy an Asus, Aser or any of the other more powerful netbooks that are out. These little netbooks are great for checking emails, watching some YouTube videos and mostly web based stuff. They are great for that but they don't have the power of bigger operating systems.
@LackThere0f knockoff chinese brand? well, do you know exactly what company they're "knocking off"? no, its just a generic chinese brand that lets larger companies rebrand their products.
@LackThere0f but that doesnt mean theyre knockoffs. anyway, ever hear of the augen/sylvania android netbooks? theyre just like this, except with a logo.
No, not a true knockoff - it's an original product, unless you count vaguely aping the styling of various name-brand netbooks. But there is no good accurate word to describe the kind of minimal-cost no-name electronics that you can get out of China.
In other news I decided the 7" screen has too poor of a resolution for comfortable word processing, and am looking at 10" ones with the same chip. But that puts the price up close to where you can get a used Eee PC.
I have 2 of these netbooks! Haha... Yes these little computers work very well running Android compared to the ones that run Windows CE. I downloaded the World Radio app and I stream music on it and it works very well. Plus the quality of the YouTube videos is very good compared to the Windows CE models. Android really works nicely on these TINY computers :D
@SkyPirate600 You doudt what? That Android runs nicely? It runs Android 2.2 quite nicely. No these netbooks don't have an accelerometer (g sensor). You CAN change the screen from vertical to landscape from an icon on the Desktop though ^_-
Thank you. It is an Android OS and when we go to the app center it wants us to download as if we were on an Android phone with a phone number/account and all. Super frustrating.
I spoke to someone today who is saying they are getting that their flash player is just an evaluation copy so I am in the process of trying to find out myself what may be causing this actually since I haven't seen it before. thanks for your question.
My daughter got an android netbook 7" for Christmas from "Santa" All the sites she wants to go on require Adobe Flash player. We cannot figure out how to download the flash player. This netbook is a used one "Santa" purchased. Any ideas how to get this to work. I did find it and download it from a android download site but then when going to intall it says that is has stopped unexpectadly and cannot continue. Please help.

The ones I'm looking at are so low-end no larger company is willing to put their name on them.
