Why is it that they have the technology to fly from star to star at faster than light speed, but their weapons are so crude they have to close to visual range and exchange shots like 18th century ships of the line?

Empire at War would have been the best game ever if they took the space graphics from Sins of a Solar Empire and combined it with the land battle graphics and textures of Empire Total War...this game was underwhelming.

then you need to download a new crack for FOC--- thats what i did .. thing is EAW will not work though ..

The lancer Frigates were actually Strike Cruisers, sorry, there are just so many ships in Phoenix Rising.
