  • I'm searching (and not finding) for the Catholic Church's stance on Scientology. I am Christian, and I'm actively searching and finding many who are pointing out the numerous disdainful actions of what I call a combination of bizarre fantasy, elitist cult, pyramid scheme that vindictively 'protects' itself with intimidation and threats...a group that acts more like a fascist state than a church.

Those are widely held critiques of the church; but most of the attackers are anti-religion. Why?

  • All these people are Shrewd Businessmen with with one person in mind... and it ain't YOU! If people looked in mirror and faced the facts about themselves and actually got over it rather than letting the FUCKING morons syphon them financially spiritually and emotionally...

  • Point is, if I as a critic of Scientology can find what I perceive to be a flaw in those who attack COS, then it must be very easy for people within the "church" to do so. It also weakens the criticisms in the eyes of the general public (Of which Christians = huge %).

I'm not suggesting anyone stop criticizing Scientology. Quite the contrary, I'm saying that ordinary Christians & their churches look closely at Scientology & make their voices heard.

Anonymous needs to embrace people of faith.

  • I find the music fitting for who this is about!

  • I agree with you there buddy, but it annoys me a little that everybody cry's and complains about what Scientology is doing whilst ignoring the effects of the major Cult religions. I suppose Miscavige and more importantly, LRH - are only doing what the tyrannical religious have been doing for centuries. One cult at a time? I hope so.

  • one more thing is that I personally, always welcome debate. if you like, make a vid about it. I'll happily reply

  • Blasphemy is something ALL religions wish to impose on the entire world. Scientology is no different here. Ever heard of Salman Rushdie? When Rushdie received his fatwa from Iran, the Muslims AND Catholic upper ehelon supported this act. Don't believe me, do the research. Did you or do you protest Rushdie's dilemma? Blasphemy was still technically a crime in the UK up to 2008. Scientology may be a problem, but it is no where near a problem like the major Cult players. You know who they are.

  • Sorry buddy but you have pretty much summed up the problem with ALL powerful religious beliefs. Miscavige is no different from most of the powerful men within Islam, Mormonism and Christianity. Abuse is abuse and as far as I'm concerned religion = cult status - and the Abrahamic religions have been abusing people in more ways than one for many, many years.

  • well I don't disagree, as I said before, I feel that all should be held accountable despite what they believe. if you were to ask some, they might tell you "one cult at a time" don't forget what started this fight was a stupid tom cruise video, so they would argue it was scientology who started this fight with us, and not us with them. also, something CAN be done about scientology, whereas a protest against islam would change nothing...in mine and most others oppinions anyway.

  • I'm not defending Scientology buddy, but I'm inquiring as to why people like YOU care so much about what Scientology is doing. Why not Islam? Why not the Mormons? Why not your cult based non religious organizations? WHY SCIENTOLOGY? Is it more exiting? Fighting Scientology compared to protesting or fighting any of the Abrahamic religions as FAR easier pal, by leaps and bounds. I should know.

  • I'm of the oppinion that within a free western society, all people should be held accountable for their actions despite whatever their beliefs may be. you raise a valid point, however a multifront war like that just wouldn't be possible logistically. Scientology accuses us of being "anti-religion" but truthfully we have dug deep enough into their closet, to warrant our disdain for them. understand we are not even against scientologists per se, we are against the organization.

  • furthermore, you should be aware that David Miscavige has made an announcement that he plans on pushing the U.N. for ammending their charters of human rights to include a "blasphemy clause" making it illegal to be critical of religions world wide, most religious organizations welcome debate from what I've observed.

  • one more thing I would like to clarify, is that I consider myself to be an agnostic in the truest sense of the word. as in I'm accepting of ideas, and yet subscribe to no particular theology. therefore I am willing to respect people in their chosen system of beliefs, scientology is the acception to this for a wide variety of reasons, ranging from the current abuses that go on with in our free western society, to its origins based on flat out lies.

  • People enjoy fighting Scientology because they know they won't be chased down a street by brainwashed Muslims or Christians. Why do people even care so much about destroying the Church Of Scientology? Because of its Humans Rights abuses? Its Disconnection Policy? Its strange unprovable beliefs? If so, then please show some consistency and start protesting Islam, Christianity etc - because THESE cults are older, more dangerous and continue to poison the minds of young people world wide.

  • It's great that people are continuing to protest Scientology - we all know what Scientology is really about. But what pisses me off is the fact that Scientology is pretty much bullied. Why aren't 'Anon' protesting Islam? Christianity? Mormonism?

You get the picture. These CULTS have been around longer and they are just as destructive, if not more destructive than Scientology. It seems Scientology is the easy fight. They don't and won't fight back. It's the celebrity cult.

  • if you consider scientology to be an easy fight, I recomend you do a little more extensive research. if you can find an organization more litigeous or tenacious than them, then let me know. I think paulette cooper, the author of "the scandal of scientology" would disagree with your statements the day she found a pistol pressed against her temple, only to hear a "click" as it misfired this took place at the door of her apartment, not in some random spot, they literally came to her door for that

  • HAHA!! THEY GOT HEMET!!

I grew up there, and I have seen the busses, heard about the ' rent a cops' abusing people for protesting.. THANK GOD that Co$ is GIVING UP on the GOLDEN ERA PRODUCTIONS Buildings on GILMAN HOT SPRINGS ROAD in SAN JACINTO CA.

Hey, David MisCabbage, If you tear down the castle and church there..

    Can I have the boat?

It would look WICKED in my FRONT YARD.

And I will let all the kids play on it.

  • whoa, slow down here....please explain. Co$ is giving up gold base? where are you getting this? can you verify this info?

  • I am told by some friend in hemet that they have seen people Taking large trucks of materials and moving vans out of gold base the past two weeks. Wether this is Just Moving things around or mobing out, I cant say until I hear back. I called my friend and asked them to verify this for me. At any rate, I have protested there before, and The rent a cops tried to have me arrested, before. I will see what info I can get for you. At any rate, I'm sorry if I freaked out.

  • What's sad is Scientologists take what comes out of this buttholes mouth as truth from God but I think deep down they know he's an SP they just can't confront the fact that they have been duped.

  • The protest here in Nashville drew a grand total of 3 protesters after three months of promotion and planning! Only 1 wore a mask - I guess because they realize that Fair Game is an over-exaggerated conspiracy theory that isn't used on people that don't make a difference.

  • Curch is dieing. They hide now. Fair Ganing is not a conspiricy but after 18 months of Anonymous dismantling they are feeling the Pain

  • This message is a thetan for DM.

  • Correction: Tommy Davis and Pat Harney (plus various Scientologists online) did come to defend Miscavige in what they viewed as an "attack" by St. Petersburg Times. Of course, I believe they are doing so out of fearful compulsion rather than truthful experience.

  • just for the record, i had this vid up before the SP times article, and then i took it down to rework it a little and upload a bigger, better version, i thought it might get more views that way. it was a dumb idea, I fail at teh internets.

  • Thanks for the explanation.
