this is kind of off topic..but does anyone know what kind of dance 여령무 is?? cause they used like the fan (aka 부채춤) and the cloth (살푸리...) and when i search 여령무 theres only one video with that dance..so i think the name is wrong or misspelled..

The dancing is so lively. I love how there is so much spirit in Korean dance, far more so than Japanese dance. No offence to Japanese dancers.

Relax Ziyiweishu. I wasn't hating on Japanese dance. I was just noting Korean dance tends to be more lively than Japanese dance. I did say no offense to Japanese dancers.

@HindsightPOV, thats ur opinion and I respect it, but after watching many plays of Kabuki I have to disagree. It depends on what u watch though...its just like a movie, some can suck while other are outstanding.

@HindsightPOV Japanese dances are very angular and rigid in comparison to Korean dances. Chinese dances are quite rigid too, except for the ethnic minority influenced dances. Koreans hands down have the most lively dances in East Asia.

this type of Korean dance is for the royal courts. It was seen only by the royalty back in ancient times. Too bad they only showed a short clip and only one version. It's an extremely beautiful dance.
