Do you have any idea how hard it would be to do a true spider design? Spread out it has to support its own weight and be stable. I think its perfect.

Good work, but I would call this more of a sideways crab judging by the leg movement. Spiders would have two legs in front, two in back, and two on either side, not all eight on the front and back. A true spider design would be easier to turn.

The feet seem to slip a lot. I wonder if they considered rubber feet.

we switched to HDPE feet. They slip better. Rubber has too much grip.
