I love the Hellraiser films (well, the first 5 anyway, the last few were terrible) and I will give this one a chance. It started to look like one of those "found footage" films which I don't like (Blair Witch, Paranormal Activity) That sub-genre has worn out it's welcome but it kind of fuses traditional horror with the found footage which might not be so bad. I am disappointed that Bradley isn't playing Pinhead but he's getting older (Met him at TFW a few years ago, coolest guy ever)

Saw it. Awful beyond belief. It's so bad that James Rolfe is the one that should do a review. I read somewhere that it was made as quickly and cheaply as possible so the company would not lose the film rights (like the 1994 Fantastic Four "film"). If this is true, it explains a lot.

Saw it. Awful beyond belief. It's so bad that James Rolfe is the one that should do a review. I read somewhere that it was made as quickly and cheaply as possible so the company would not lose the film rights (like the 1994 Fantastic Four "film"). If this is true, it explains a lot.

I haven't seen this yet so I'll refrain from reviewing but the one thing that bugs me from this trailer is why if you couldnt get Doug to play Pinhead again wouldn't you just create a new cenobite character?? Incredibly awful for those of us that love the first two movies, and even enjoy Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth (with songs by Armored Saint and Motorhead) or Hellraiser IV: Bloodline (which wasn't THAT bad). It would be better if Doug Bradley's Pinhead was included in a new horror movie crossover a-la Freddy Vs. Jason, at least that would be fun.
