@fredericshie12 I see. Who is the prison guard who forced you to watch this video against your own free will? I'm so sorry to hear that this video did not meet your approval. I'll make sure my next videos satisfy YOUR standards of high caliber, action-packed entertainment, your royal highness.
I am having trouble assembling the sear spring or three finger spring correctly(Part at 5:22). Without the slide, the hammer works just fine. Once i put on the slide and pull it back, the hammer does not go forward. Any suggestions please?
hi illusion, you seem to know more about the internals of the hi capa than me. can you tell me how to make my grip safety work again? i searched all over the interwebz but cant find anything that works. My gun still fires when i have my hand off of the grip safety, so the safety doesnt work at all. What could be the problem? Did the leaf spring in the back of the gun be bent out of place? i have no clue how the grip safety works so i dont know where to start looking to find the problem.
It's a pretty common problem with Marui's, as the peg on the grip safety is not very robust and does wear down over time. It's also common to get a brand new Marui out of the box and the grip safety doesn't function. The only thing I can recommend is to swap the grip safety.
Thank you so much my cylinder "feeding nozzle?" came apart and i had no idea which way the insert in the back or the longer spring went, I can't thank you enough, Subbed XD
The "part" that houses the trigger? You mean the grip? It's plastic, just like the real thing (except with new model SVI's). What "rail" are you referring to? There is no accessory rail shown in this video. The pistol comes with one, but I do not show it. If you're referring to the rails that the slide rides on, then you're referring to the receiver, which is metal. If it were made of plastic, the gun would self destruct from the impact of the hammer alone.
with the blowback mechanism, does the little bucket like thing you put in the loading nozzle, does that get screwed into the nozzle with the small black screw, or does it go freely?
If there's a tiny hole on the top of it, then that's the valve blocker, and yes, the screw holds it in place. The floating valve moves freely. Sorry, that's the best I can do based on your item description. I don't otherwise know what you mean by the "little bucket like thing".
Thanks for the awesome videos, helped me fix my gun alot :) BTW can u explain how to remove the magazine catch/ release thing? i cant seem to be able to remove it.
Would you be able to tell me why my grip safety doesn't work? The trigger still engages the hammer when not held the right way but it requires a stronger trigger pull.
That's sort of normal for Tokyo Marui. The peg on the beavertail responsible for creating the physical block against the sear is probably worn down. Upgrade to a steel grip safety if you want it to work again and last longer.
@ILLusionKinetics Its actually a brand new WE-Tech, if you could send me a picture of the actual part of the beavertail that meats the sear i would appreciate it, ill try to fix it before buying a new one
Remove the safety levers, shine a light in the hole, and watch how the trigger bar interacts with the grip safety when the block swings up. You'll see it. Like I said, you can't fix it, unless you add material. This is easier said than done, and almost always breaks off/wears down quite quickly.
greattttt vid bro if it wasnt for this i couldnt put my gun bak... both vids of takin apart n puttin bak

I believe that's what I meant. I am not terribly good with gas gun terms, as I just got a broken 5.1 a week ago.
Thank you for the advice.

Thanks for the info. I'm actually about to order a shooters design grip with a lot of other stuff.

to remove the mag release, do you press it in while you unscrew it?
TI23Y 9 months ago
@TI23Y
No, you actually press the screw itself in while you turn it.
