Hey kid, you better know something about SOHC V8 Engines, the popping sound is because ususally (not all) the X-pipes but especially the bassani's brand has a irregular X design that concentrates the combustion gases, vapor and obviously the hot factor, all of that meet on the mid pipe and the pressure and hot temp makes pop the content that is concentrated on the mid pipe

I lucked out - my Car Club buddy was returning his car back to stock to sell (he had the setup for less than a year) and we transplanted my stock setup with his for just under $800. I believe a similar setup would run about $1200. I also just added a BBK Cold Air Induction setup and now the exhaust note sounds even meaner. Bassani all the way bro!
