Question: Wouldn't this just damage her feet more? I mean, callouses grow because the person is not wearing proper shoes, like high heels, and they protect the bones. Wouldn't shaving it off just damage the bones? Wouldn't wearing proper shoes fix this? Or was this just cosmetic?

so how do you get callouses under your feet? i ve asked many people but nobody gave an exact answer: does it develop from a fungus or by pressure? is it hereditary?

You have 5 layers of epidermis which is the top layer of your skin. The Stratum Corneum is the most superficial layer which as pressure develops whether shear or direct pressure causes an over production of Stratum Corneum to produce many layers of thick protective sheeting to help shield the stressors that arise from the increased friction being introduced to the plantar aspect of the foot.

@loopis12321 Realmente vc tem razão no que diz, porém qdo essa camada mais espessa não é desbastada causa muito desconforto ao precionar a plantar, podendo trazer até mesmo outros problemas....é apenas uma solução paleativa...
