  • 2:31 - 2:32 what is that scary shit some kind of crab !!!!!

  • 3:31 - 3:32 what is that scary shit some kind of crab !!!!!

  • 2:20 the worms were probably the scariest things in the pit

  • If I had a centipede on me the size of the one at 1:56, you can consider me officially fucking dead. Cuz My heart and brain would explode simultaneously. I hate centipedes of any size. That size? No thank you. I want to avoid that whole process.

  • Moral of the story: Terran is OP against Zerg.

  • That Bug Pit scene always gets me. Especially when that giant claw comes out of a hole in the chasm wall, and snatches somebody up. It sends shivers up my spine, and makes my skin crawl.

  • Cool footage. You should send this to the new PREHISTORIC CHANNEL. PREHISTORIC CHANNEL just launched and they are looking for new content.

    Just google PREHISTORIC CHANNEL

  • haha! moving dicks at 2.20!

  • Those things at 2:20...gave me friggin' nightmares!

  • AAAAH MILLIPEDE ON ANNES SHOULDER

  • There should be a movie about just Skull Island cause these were the best parts of the movie.

  • @TheHorrorcity

they should do a fake-documentary about Skull island and its fauna, like alien planet or future is wild!

  • @lemaro1977 Dude you have a good idea and they can film it in the first person like how they did Cloverfield

  • @lemaro1977 yeah! like they did with District 9!

  • @lemaro1977 They did :)

Its in the DVD edition I think if you have extended features.

  • @lemaro1977 There is one. It's short but interesting. I got it on a King Kong 2 disc dvd edition

  • FUCK why does everyone always put music in it! IT RUINS EVERY SCENE STOP IT

  • Those mud slug parasite things are the most repulsive creatures I've ever seen, that was so creepy and disgusting when one came from behind him and started eating his head, bleh I've got horrible jitters thinking about them.

  • The creatures in this movie are soo cool!! _O_

  • @Ienstien965

    I agree :-)

  • DA CANYON RAPE SCENE

  • 2:33 what was that????

  • @smashbrofreak It was a ginormous claw obviously from some kind of insanely huge bug that nests in the canyon walls, they didn't show it's whole body, just it's claw at the one part when it grabs the guy trying to climb out.. If you watch the actual movie on a tv, all these bugs are much easier to make out, this distorted and scrunched picture makes it tough.

  • >WHAT"S The DVD Chapter of this Scene called?

That way people can Pen-point the Bug scenes better on Youtube?

  • 2005? It's been that long?

  • @elpistachiojr

yes... seems to me like yesterday, when I saw it in the movies...!

  • 2:01 what was that monster name?on her back

2:40 what was that monster name?it is like group of it

    regards,

  • @lemaro1977 There's a lot of kingkong.coms's Jus pm me the url

  • @Fr0stable i think in 2:40 they are oversized potato bugs

  • @20GATE91 nah at 2:40, I don't know if he gave them a name or anything but they just looked like massive grasshoppers except they were brown, not green, and they were damn vicious too, trying to eat his face.

  • if creatures like those still existed, we need pokeballs

  • awesome

  • Skull island is Better than Pandora

  • @braigus09 Definitely mate.

  • @braigus09 agree

  • 2:17 horrible.... = (

  • Is there something on this island that doesnt try to kill them?? xD

  • That rock over there!

    ..Oh wait...killer snail..

  • lame music

  • bet you wish you have a flamethrower with all those bugs

  • @anonymous746582 lol have you seen those bugs' shell? they look fireproof! Shotgun is your best bet buddy. Or a tommy gun

  • @braigus09 Or a bazooka.. yeah..

  • Don't worry guys. There's a little thing called the "Square Cube Law" that would prevent bugs that size from ever existing.

Every time a creature's size is squared, it's weight should be cubed. Those bugs would not be able to support their own weight on their thin legs.

Also, one reason bugs like that existed back during the age of the dinosaurs was that there was more oxygen in the atmosphere, which there isn't today.

There ya go. No need to worry. :3

    Wait, what's thaOHFUCKOHSHITARRRGGH

  • Even for carboniferous period, some of these bugs are simply too big...

    nice explanation!

    thanks! :-)

  • @TBotAlpha first of all its a movie second of all there leggs would probobaly be much stronger any way the cumbustion cycle of the energy in there weight would be the same cubic meausurement of that if they were small and third off all skull island is cursed and has ha prehistoric atmosphere!!!!!!!!

  • @chriscross584 I wasn't claiming that they couldn't exist on Skull Island. The place clearly operates on different physical and biological laws than the rest of the world. I was pointing out that there's no reason to fear giant bugs like that in the real world, because they simply could not exist.

  • @TBotAlpha oh well u have a good point then

  • @TBotAlpha another reason giant bugs never exsisted is that god never created them.(yes i know i misspelled exsisted) -_-

  • @PikminInvader uhh... giant bugs did exist RETARD

  • @TBotAlpha yes, this is true.

  • @TBotAlpha but still, when I saw the insect scene in the movie I wanted to puke my guts out.

  • @TBotAlpha Damn and I was hoping there was really a skull island

  • @TBotAlpha ok then how did they exist then if their legs were still small

  • @grufeetywy

Giant crickets, wetas, and spiders didn't exist. It was things that scuttled low to the ground, with lots of legs that did. More legs = weight spread across a wider area.

The giant centipedes are actually fairly realistic, assuming a more oxygen-rich environment than the present day (like way back, even before the dinosaurs existed). Centipedes and scorpions are both known to have dog-sized versions that lived millenia ago, but spiders or crickets never have.

  • @TBotAlpha actually they were millipedes :)

  • @evolutionman717 they r centipedes dip-shit!

  • @PDMLJC not in my book, (its a book i bought) it has all the species and it says its a MILL-I-PEDE even says where it shows in the movie. top that

  • @TBotAlpha Dude, that's an awesome tidbit of info. Thanks.

  • @TBotAlpha Oh! Dude! I totally heard about that on "Spreadingthemuse", pretty good videos that are really informative and they're pretty easy to watch, as in it's laced with pretty nice scenes from sci-fi works. But yeah, they covered this one! Wheres my cookie? :D

  • @TBotAlpha actully the bug during the age of dinosaurs werent mutch bigger than today the ones you are thinking of are in the carbonifourus about 45 million years before dinosaurs like eoraptor one of the earliest ones evolved but in the carboniforous millipedes grew up to the size of 7 feet long or 2 meters witch is relly fuckin big!

p.s. i did not google this eccept the times for the exact date goodday youtube!!!!!!

  • 3:58 Damn nature you scary!!!

  • 2:34 pwned!!!

  • Those bugs are pure nightmare fuel. I'm not usually squeamish at all, but when that fucking leech thing eats that guy's head, I wanted to fucking crawl out of my skin.

  • yeah me too its damn discusting but also very sad for that guy. I would just take out my gun an shoot em, if i had a gun in that scene XD

  • @krakhaid Same that leech thing disturbed and last time I watched this movie was in 05 or 06.

  • that insect pits so damaging lol the scorpion things are like 10 metres long and how much teeth do those tape worms have lmao

  • the song is awesome. could you tell me the name of it? thanks!

  • @TheSlice919

    Author: Yanni

    Name: "Street Level"

  • good video!

  • What is that thing ment to be at 2:33

  • u mean that claw at the wall? i think its the claw of those huge spider-crab things a little later in that scene

  • a deplector, basically a big nasty crab

  • 3:22 a few longnecks fell off..lol

  • 2:32 got your ass mr post man

  • lol, typed it wrong, meant what was that thing at 2:32

  • giant bugs from skull island :)

  • They are called Weta :D search them up

  • almost pukes at that part when a saw the movie 2:13

  • @Dutchgg 2:13 was the worst :( .

  • when i saw that scene i was scared as shit at 2:32 that made me shit myself (not really) lol

  • 2:34

    Pwned!

  • 2:21 what are those?

  • Carnictuses.

  • In fact, when a population of animals is confined to a little space like an island, with time the animals will shrink. An example of that occured in Wrangel Island, where the last population of mammoths survived until 1.700 BC; they were much smaller than typical mammoths.

So if they really found this Island in 1933, they in fact would see mini v-rexes, mini-brontosaurus and probably a monkey-sized King Kong. :-)

But it is entertainment, right? Who cares? I prefer them big as the movie shown!!

  • So im not the only v rex fan here...

  • Sure :-). I think they are even coolest than T-Rexes!

    regards,

  • Tru dat!

  • CARNICTIS IS SCARY SHIT!

  • Yeah! Too SCARY!!!!!

  • if your talking about the worms, they remind me too much of something else. And by the way, what about the extended cut creatures

  • I liked the movie, just didn't like when the V-Rexes Die. Maybe godzilla will take care of Kong >:X

  • really, pity that they died. That island is small, the v-rex population must be in exctintion by that time... :P with the help of kong!! :P

  • I just read and it said the Kongs, and V-rexes are a tie, but kong just seems better then the rest. So now kong is taken care of by humans and the V-rexes shall rule again >:D

  • Makes me want to go looking for a giant ape. :)

  • there may be an island like that out there somewhere. i've already begun plans for an expedition.

  • I want to go to i have experiance with large hairy apes with a preferance to blonde humans. plus i have a boat called

    the jolly seaman

  • LOL I'll go too, I'm a natural blonde!

  • Iwanna be in that boat too!!

  • really?

  • i'll come

  • I like the song ITS SOOO CATCHY!!!!!!! :P

  • That greature that grabed that guy ot of the wall is the Deplector. look at website, it still works! at beastiry. youll see the whole body.

  • I have that book too, and I just wish that they had cut out some of the pointless ship scenes and the Jimmy thing and included some more monsters. Also, I think they should have balanced out the effects, as in using a bit of CGI, a bit of Stop-Motion, a bit of Animatronic puppets, and a few more miniatures. Instead it was all CGI and a couple of miniatures.

Why didn't Peter Jackson use at least a little stop-motion?

  • Totally agree with you. There was a lot of crap that could've been cut from that film. Even so, it's still pretty good. Oh and I have that book as well and I can barely put the thing down.

  • Yes, I would prefer more scenes from the Skull island, it´s a fantastic place! Great forests, ruins, great animals...! what a place, for any naturalist.

  • May I just say, great video! You did a real good job!

  • thanks man!! :-)

    regards,

  • in the extended version there was 1 animatronic creature. but u may wel already no this

  • The creatures who show in the movie represents 5 % of the creatures of skull island.

  • Exactly. I've got the encyclopedia showing all the creatures on Skull Island; the ones in the movie were overwhelmed by other entries. Probably around 13 creatures were shown in the final cut.

  • The World of Kong ? I will have him in my birthday, the 1st november ;)
