oh god damn, I FUCKIN LOVE TAKASHI MIIKE MOVIES!! ichi the killer is one of my favourites, also GOZU is very very nice too, i like how he sets that weird creepy atmosphere.. amazing. the manga from ichi is awsome too btw. movies like the ones miike makes are very rare to find these days, he truly mastered the art of weird horror. GOZU is the best WTF-JUST-HAPPENED-THERE?!?!?!-­movie i could ever find.

There was some blood, yeah, and some bad CGI effects and a killer who couldn't stop crying.

Like, Ichi cries all the time because he is a crybaby, but he is also an extreme sadist, and talking about sadists in general, they don't tend to be the most brave people in the world.

hi, i think it's great that you have made this fan-movie-trailer, and yess, the movie is awesome and rightly a cult classic; but what i have to criticize is your decission to use only atmospheric sound as soundtrack for about 3 minutes;

the result is awkward, looks strange, also regarding that you took only the extreme-violence scenes as represantative for the movie; hmm, very questionable, cause you change the context; miike's movies are self ironic reflections on violance no glorifications

In earlier versions the Joker had a permanent grin from falling into a tub of acid not a scar.

yeah well, as a filmmaker i'd have to agree with your teacher. you should never show the gore scenes in a trailer and it's far too long for its own good. but i like the concept, not bad.
