  • I will admit I'm not into the music although I do appreciate that this is something to be proud of, I think they should bring back vinyl records with the neat folders and sheets inside... it really adds something to the music! 5/5 :)

  • One word: EPIC!!!

  • Are all these songs played on the Raccoons?

  • Yep, though most are background music.

  • Oh ok, I could only remember hearing Run With Us. Would be interesting to see how many copies of this album were printed.

  • I don't get it ..what is so special about this album ? Why would anyone spend 7 years looking for it ?

  • its out of print and was only released in Canada.

  • I Think That It Has Some FANtastic Music On It - I Would Spend Time Looking For A Copy If i HAd The Time And The Money!

  • any way to get some MP3s of that

you just brought me back, I used to watch that show when they would run it on disney in like 89-90

  • holy shit that actually sounds good on a record player.

  • What Do You Mean? Vinyl Always Sounds Better Than CD's Do, Unless You Have A Cyrus Sound System

  • i agree with you on the sound of vinyl its a much warmer fuller sound compared to cd's its like compareing a tube amplifier to a solid state amp there is a sound difference there as well tubes have a warmer sound than solid state

  • (Going thru an account)

I'm located in Ontario where this show was animated, and have been looking for this album for over four years at record stores and record shows in Toronto, London, etc. How on earth did you score a copy living in the US, let alone one still SEALED! I have the mp3's on my computer from a website; I would have kept it sealed! Awesome it came with that paperwork! Guess you're not sellin yours, eh? I would love some pics of the fnt/back artwork, record, sleeve and paperwrk

  • OK! For those who want all 9 of the Evergreen Nights songs, you can download them at the 'unofficial Raccoons Website'. Do a Yahoo or Google search for the address.

  • Another album to add to my mental crate dig list

  • Crate digs are fun. I usually go for 80's and blues, or anything else with a good beat. Nothing is cooler than getting a whole box of albums in good condition for a few bucks!

  • I have not watched that show in years, if you had just played the song with no intro, I would have known that I have heard it before, but I would not have been able to place it, I have some episodes on an old VHS tape back at home (I staying at my parents house this weekend) when I get back on sunday, I will have to pop that tape in.

  • I have been searching for this record for the past seven years. I have only been able to get my hands on a 45 of Run With Us. It brought a tear to my eye to actually SEE the album and know that, somewhere out there, the album actually exists. Thank you for posting this.

  • Glad you liked the video. I was almost ready to pay a CD service over $250 to make me a CD of the album because I couldn't find it, but now I have the real thing, and it's great :-)

  • I almost did the same with the same service :P Managed to get a few MP3s of the tracks I wanted in the end. They were recorded from the cassette version though.

If you have put the recording up anywhere I may be able to have a go at remastering it for you to remove the vinyl flaws.

  • can you post her song called growing up? i heard it once some time ago and i remember liking it

  • I have that one both on LP and 45. I might post a clip of it some time, but I don't want to post any complete songs.

  • I have this song in VHS!!!

  • I mean the video clip recorded in 1987

  • My canon camera clips on loud audio too. Hope you have transfered it to CD-R or Mp3's.

Strange this album is very rare, what label is it on.

I've only seen pictures of the LP or Cassette, not the CD.

  • The label is Run Records. It was never released on CD, as far as I know.

  • It was never released on CD, only LP vinyl.

  • That's pretty incredible. She has a very rad, Madonna-like sound. Back when drums were compressed beyond reality, and the bass player was the synth guy covered in patch cords. Your fox looks pretty tired, too. =)

  • Well, 99% of the compression is coming from my camera in this case, but I know what you mean. It's one of the reasons I still listen to classical/acoustic music now and then.

As for the fox, very tired indeed :-) It was used by JR on FPS for some time before ending up here :-)

  • Wow, now that's quality music. Records seem to have a much wider sound range than CDs and mp3s.

  • Depends on your needle and in how good condition you keep them :P
