  • Very impressive. Motivational too! :)

  • This is all really awesome man. Love the updates, and I love that he's smaller now. Seems to flow lots nicer like you said.

  • Awesome love these vids.

  • I know this vid came out a while back, but for some reason that night youtube wasn't working for me. Anyways great work. I really like the powerup system and the characterize desizing, definitely makes a big difference, or is it a little difference?

  • That's awesome! It feels so much faster with the size reduction and the dashing! I mean, would anyone play Megaman X without going to the ice level to get the dash first? And you can never go wrong with a jetpack...Except in real life, then things can go really really wrong!

Game is looking great, man. I can wait to get my thumbs on it.

  • Amazing update man, really got to hand it to you :D. I especially liked how much more involved the updates seem now. With the Q&A and code segments i think you have a great formula going here! The only thing that maybe needs to be tuned up is the time period it takes for these updates.

Making this videos takes a lot of time i understand, perhaps you could search for an editor for your team? This would make updates a hell of a lot easier on you :).

  • Haha I love the bloopers at the end. I do the same exact thing when I record for my dev videos.

Anyway, great work. Keep the updates coming.

  • @GyroVorbis ha! RadRaygun X, hell yeah! A spritebatch is an XNA construct used to draw to the graphics component. You use a spritebatch to draw sprites, shapes, and strings. You can begin and end the scope similar to OpenGL. The actual spritesheets are stored in Texture2D objects and cut up into animations via SpiteBuddy XML files.

  • Soooo much more agile! RadRaygun just became RadRaygun X. I have to admit that it's very interesting seeing you address various problems in C# that we are addressing for AiGD18 in C++. Lots of your "interfaces" look like our C++ abstract classes. Is a "SpriteBatch" essentially a "SpriteSheet" containing an array of Sprites?

  • I love the music more than anything... good video, nice explanation on the power up code. I can't wait to play!

  • will you be releasing the source after the release of the game? i would appreciate it :D

  • god i want this game now
