Awesome compilation. I do agree with a comment below (jefferson airplane, joy division, etc are missing) but I imagined it had to be amazingly hard to pick just 150 songs. Anyway, great job :)

i like your list but you should rename it "most popular songs", besides that, where is pixies, the stooges, joy division, jefferson airplane, love, sonic youth, talking heads, stone roses and i can go on, and, CREEP!, come on! paranoid android is the one, and the best indie song ever, "there is a light that never goes out" is not even on the list, it should be there instead gay shit like guns n roses, any way thumbs up, since is better than others that i've seen, congrats

I think most of the song in the top ten are overrated - they are significant, as they have had an impact on music in general, but musically they aren't the best songs. That said, Bohemian Rhapsody I agree with; but it's very hard to compare songs with one another.

I have listened hundreds of classics. This is one of the best(if not THE best) lists ever made. I loved the top 50, and (despite being a Metallica fan) I think that the top 5 was the best one I've ever seen.

Love Bittersweet Symphony :) Wish Back in Black were higher on the list, but at least you got Highway to Hell in the top 25. Wish You Were Here, Freebird, Let it Be, and several others definitely rank higher on my list. But I'm glad you've got Imagine, Hey Jude, Stairway to Heaven, and Bohemian Rhapsody in the top 10! Allright, for first, i know i forgot too many very good songs from my top 50 like Hotel California, Waterloo Sunset, Yesterday, No Woman, No Cry, Hound Dog, Johnny B. Goode or London Calling, i just wanted to make a bit more unique list that no other has ever done and i'm so glad you remembered to put SOUNDS OF SILENCE in your top 50 THANK YOU FOR THAT, and i'm also glad you put some rap there, well done i'll also give 4 stars!!!
