  • You haven't discussed the difference between class and id selectors. I'm hoping that's coming up in the next video!

  • alternative method:

"Can we make the background yellow?"

  • Thank you!

It's so much easier to follow along. Your clear explanations really help make sense of what's in the HTML & CSS books. I'm a newbie to HTML and CSS, and your video is a big help. Thank you for sharing your knowledge! Looking forward to viewing your other videos.

  • It's much more effective for me to watch you work than to read through a bunch of definitions and manuals. It's still important to be able to look things up, but you're really teaching us how to code in general. Thanks!

  • Thank you so much brother.......I think the bird is the rake to learn for free....I will pay the price.

  • thank you so much. Very easy to understand :)

  • your helping me out with college big time, thanks man

  • Why when styling the navigation bar do you use a class and not an ID since nav is only used once on the page.

  • vintageozarks hit the nail on the head. I agree, between you and tutvid, you guys are great. I'm 60 and also learning a new career. This helps me a lot!

  • you are the men i never post comments but in this case wow im going to tell you that: YOU ARE THE BEST

  • Next to tutvid and that kid in Canada (Evan Thies), you are my favorite teacher. I am 62 and learning CSS so I can build my own blogs and sites.

  • great job thnx

  • you are a talent. really. most videos about html and stuff are very confusing. thx for being a light!

  • Thank You

  • Very useful. One of the clearest CSS instructional videos that I've seen. Thank you.

  • You are great - this is so helpful.

  • Great video,,, I'll be checking your earlier tutorials after watching this one. I've only been messing with html for about a year few hours a month. After using tables I'm staring on css now.

After lookin up probably over a hundred sources and vids this has to one of my favs so far.

Good clean examples and easy to follow. Thanks to everyone tha helps but some attempts are clumsy and skip stuff that's familiar to them when they're teaching. Thanks, Good Stuff

  • Explaining the difference between CLASS and ID and when should be used would very useful. However the video is quite good especially for beginners.
