  • no driver on the steering wheel. thats the cause of the accident.

  • I ALWAYS use seatbelts. My passengers are not going anywhere without belts engaged. I have a good child seat and my kid always use it and it's belts - first he was protesting and crying, but we were very firm, and he gave up :) No safety - no driving. No belts - get the fuck out of my car and walk. The price of ignorance is way too high.

  • a passanger behind you without seatbelt is just as dangerous as not wearing a seatbelt yourself

  • 0:31 ARE WE THERE YET???

  • I don't recall my parents ever using a car seat for me and I can remember back to when I was three or four. Prior to that, I don't know. (I'm 34 now.)

    Stupid, stupid, stupid.

  • if we keep having these accidents we will evolve to with stand them! :D

  • Man that red car is safe!!!

  • The area where I live is trying to push their seat belt laws, but in their early ads, they made the mistake of using real statistics. They claim be trying to achieve "0" deaths by getting everyone to wear seat belts, but they included the statistics that show that the MAJORITY of traffic deaths where I live happened to people WHO WERE WEARING THEIR SEAT BELT! lol. Needless to say, they removed those statistics from their ads.

  • @l337pwnage its all a conspiracy.

  • @rodjames98 lol, some people do think that way, but that would imply an intelligence behind it. A bunch of Lemmings running off of a cliff is not a conspiracy, it is just mass stupidity. ;)

  • @l337pwnage My point is this. Its okay if drivers or passengers want to use them, it should never be law though, would you really believe that with the reputations of government with their lies, cover ups, sleazy business deals etc, would want a law that benefits the average man? they want you dead, its all about conditioning the human race into servitude. Take a look on a building site, everyone has to wear a hard hat even if it starts out as a grass field! its slavery. where you from pwnage?

  • @rodjames98 I agree, its up to the people to make up their minds whether they want to live or die. If you show someone that gun can kill you if you hold it up to their head and shoot, I don't think you have to make it a law to be illegal to shoot yourself in the head, its just common sense. Lol, definitely lack of common sense these days.

  • @TheTruthHurtsYup Yeah! thats good ! I'm not advocating that they don't save lives, because in some instances, clearly they have, but, and its a big but ! too many people think that because they have this policy towards everyone in their car, they are somehow bulletproof to serious injury just because everyone is belted up. I try to direct everyone to a site called "the safety choice coalition" when you look at this site, it will become evident to most that this law is wrong on moral grounds.

  • @l337pwnage try this site link, "the safety choice coalition" see what you think.?

  • Most crashes are rear enders actually..

  • @squallz13 And some are side inpact at high spped, and I can tell you that seaty belts are of no signifigance in these type crashes, infact they can actualy kill.

  • @rodjames98

    What's your point?

  • @squallz13 Well you have obviously read the comment I left, what did it say?

  • @rodjames98

Well if I am reading it right.. you are basically saying that freak shit occurs so therefore no law for seatbelts.. Which is pretty stupid logic. People get struck by lightning doesn't mean they should never be outside when there's a storm. Also people crash when it's snowy out doesn't mean you shouldn't drive when it snows all the time.

  • @squallz13 You are trying to present to me 3 different argument's on the same thread. What I am saying, (or trying to) is that people (through media programming) consider themselves, and all of their occupants as bulletproof just because they are all safely belted in, however some crashes while belted can actually kill oyu, or leave you parilysed just because you wore a belt. NOW ! because something is not 100 % safe, no government can demand a law requiring people to use something.. cont......

  • @squallz13 . If you invented something which was say only 70% safe, there is not an official body on this planet that would allow you to market that product, however this has been forced down people's throat's for generations when there remains a significant risk to drivers and passengers wearing seat belts. check out the site, "safety choice coalition" then come back and talk to me about how wonderful seat belt laws have been.

  • @rodjames98

So you are saying belts are 70% of the time safe.. So by your logic they are 70% safer than not wearing one.. and about 3948933333 times safer than not wearing a belt.

That wasn't 3 arguments it was one point....metaphors to validate that point as this whole seat belt business seems to be confusing you.

  • @squallz13 don't patronise me. And don't bother replying because a programmed mind such as yours cannot be altered.

  • @rodjames98

Don't be such a moron then and provide me with a rational argument that's all I am asking for. Instead you attack me calling me a mindless drone.

  • @squallz13 told you go and check out safety choice coalition site, and do not call me a moron. your argument is already lost when you trade insults like this. just go away.

  • @rodjames98

great obviously biased website.. so informative

    \.youtube.com/watch?v=d7iYZPp2zYY nuff said

  • @squallz13 yes very informative, its good to see that we agree on something.

  • @squallz13 And what does "nuff" mean ? sorry I don't understand that word ?

  • @rodjames98

    "Enough"

  • @squallz13 Ah ! now I see ! I :)

  • I was in a crash 2 months ago we hit a parked semi trailer. I used to wear no seatbelt at all but ever since then I have, I was so lucky I wore my seatbelt that time!!!

  • lol, it's no big deal. someone commented on a post i made a year ago, i have *no* idea what i was replying to back then, but it had to be a comment about the windsheild or something....i'm not sure. then all the sudden this month, after a year has gone by i started getting replies to my comment, *shrugs*. i really dont know what the deal was. but no big deal. :)

  • 0:14 Hyundai PONY?

  • i crash my car like this all of the time without a seatbelt on me and always walk out without a scratch, so dont tell me miracles cant happen without a seatbelt

  • if you mean a crash baby dummy, they are costly. Check out this link on Australia's Monash University website which lists some sources/suppliers. More credible than any old google search result

  • anyone know how much it costs one of these babies for crash tests and where I can buy?

    really need one: (

  • FYI - 30 kmph = 18.64 mph or a really LOW speed.

  • @devildogtigress thanks professor einstein for that riviting informative piece of information

  • This is irrelevant. If you are in a new Volvo or Mercedes-Benz, regardless if you have your seat belt on, you are not going anywhere.

  • kid gose weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • There is a new product to protect children online.(SnipeSlider)

Snipe creates a barrier between “parent” mode and “children” mode.

    It's amazing! Take a look:

    youtube.com/watch?v=48saXiJE9Mg

  • just imagine a collision, into 8 feet talk shark at 50 times the speed of light !!!

  • i love the austin princess but they ruined it man!

  • Why does the driver have a seat belt on? He cares more about himself then buckle those kids up in the back seat with his wife.

  • thanks very much

  • I am from Scotland but I now live in Bulgaria. When I insist on my Bulgarian friends wearing their seatbelts they think it is hilarious. Thanks YT for a nice wee bunch of clips to compile for an evening's viewing so that I might educate my friends. The road death rate here is more than twice that in the UK.

  • the driver has a seat belt and there are two children and a mother unrestrained in the rear seat. The mother probably killed the driver and the baby in her lap. She may have survived this crash but the others are surely dead.

I showed this video to my 8 year old. She isn't going to complain about wearing her seat belt.

    Doctor P

  • was sagt uns das ?

    immer angeschnallt fahren !

  • That last car, what kind of windshield is that? Its not supposed to shatter like that.

  • this documentary and those cars were made BEFORE the regulation changes on windshields were made. i'd say some time in the 70s.

  • @77MommaBear96

Sure the cars may have changed but physics and the way a human is made hasn't.

  • @ash6105 this comment i made was a year ago, i'm not even sure to what i was replying to. i believe i was commenting on the windshields and the way they shatter in the video. They do not shatter that way in newer model cars. i wasnt commenting on humans, i was commenting on the automobiles.

  • @77MommaBear96 right..but physics law are still the same ;-) especially those about kinetic energy..

  • @MrJhonnyRed right, again i was talking about the windshield. they are made different, and shatter differently than they used to. again, i'm NOT talking about people, how the move or react in a crash, i'm talking about the way the windshield shattered in the older model car would be different today w/the glass standards we have. *sigh*

  • @77MommaBear96 mate try to break a windshield with your head. if you can manage to break it I dont even want to think about your skull bones. you will have serious injuries.

you may be right about the windshield changes. but that doesnt change the fact that, in accidents people dont die due to cut bruies made by the windshield.

  • @amokachi31 exactly WHERE did i say that the windshield changes, change the way people are harmed? oh that's right...i DIDNT. the ONLY thing i've ever commented on is the way older vs. newer windshields will shatter, ive never commented ONCE on a human crashing into said windshields. damn you people cannot read at all. not once have i said a THING about the human body or damage caused to said human. ::eye roll::

  • @77MommaBear96

OK. then appologise. I think I misunderstood what you meant.

but I still wonder WHY you wrote about the regulation changes and the windshield technology. if you didnt want to try to open another view of look at this vid. if you didnt mean any single thing then I may also add that crash test dummy technologies were also improved.

  • dmn this is freaky scary!!!

old cars arent realy safets, new cars too.. but not BMW's (i have one :) ) or other cars. like audi e.g

  • Even in new cars with seatbelts most occupants, hundreds of millions of people, in the developing world do not wear them. Many countries have seatbelt laws only for front seat occupants and none at all for children. For them, video shows graphically impact of physics and risks they are running

  • @duavenger in Norway we have a law that says every occupant in the car has to wear a seatbelt :)

  • @stonee206 In UK we have that law too, So Does USA, ohh and Australia, And Sweden, and France, Germany too, Austria, ohh and Spain, Rome and Iceland aswell, Canada and Greenland also.... mostly every country does numbnuts.

  • @duavenger : It's also a good idea to wear helmets, and multi-point seatbelts like racecar drivers too. It'd be safer. Should we have laws enforcing those things too? It would also be safer to have cars never exceed 20MPH as well. Maybe if the wheel were banned less people would die. Some people actually say that should happen. Oh, if onlyt there were m,ore regulations, the world would be a better place. Right?

  • @eimb1999 Good comment ! but you need to be mindful of the fact that government's who are the corporation's of this world do not want you alive! it has been said that the world is over populated by 70%, why then would they want to introduce laws like this to save perhaps a few hundred people per year? its laughable! There is a more sinister side to all of this, its all about visible compliance of the control system.

  • @rodjames98 : What are you smoking? Looks like it's a good trip.

  • @eimb1999 I don't smoke ? what are you indicating ??

  • Because there is no seatbelts on so old cars..

  • Good to see you got the point; viz what happens when occupants don't wear seatbelts

  • @duavenger is this what happens in a school bus in a big crash or is the bus just to big to allow this much damage

  • @marble97c They have changes the medal and the structure of all school buses because of all the accidents with the Trains. they have now made them stronger almost like an army tank!

    I hope this helps!

  • @jsrcamp Ok thanks!

  • irony...

  • It's not boring, it's the reality.........

  • what are you talking about man.......Are you OK?
