Tongue in cheek but maybe you should visit Chch supermarkets. Hold on let me think when was the city wrecked by a massive earthquake, oh that's right, September 2010!!! Roads are still broken, people are still using long drop toilets in their properties as the sewers are still broken. Just keen to keep a perspective on things that are seriously important. So feel free to come to the mainland for a visit - bring your video camera, we'll keep you busy !!!!!

@MrNigeW Glad I made comments 'pending approval' on the potholes video - u get comments like "what are you complaining about try living in Chch with our roads". If I considered how bad everywhere else was before filming our grievance then no one would have anything to complain about coz there's always someone or somewhere worse off. Seriously let's not compare to a city mother nature has been so unkind too.

Good on you for making the effort to raise awareness of something that is important to you in your community. I see Countdown in the background are a tenant but they're such a souless company the bosses there prolly wouldn't get out from behind their desks to sort it out. Good luck with your car park cause.

it sux the potholes are just crazy! i hate going down the shops i feel sorry for my car its like driving around a horrible maze! and surely with the money they have spent on the patch jobs we could have have a nice new carpark
