Bass... Snare/Bass.... Bass....Snare/Bass. lather rinse repeat. Hardcore, Harstyle and Hardtrance is all single minded 21st century club music. Dj qbert was a DMC world champion way before your preference of music was even worth Djing. And just because of one video means he doesn't know anything more than hip hop. to be an accomplished dj you need a repertoire of genres. i once heard Dj Qbert use a Country beat.

@ChronOfTheMeguh im afraid theres more to Hardcore, Hardstyle, Hard Trance, etc than just beatmatching. anyone can beatmatch. Any genre aswell. just takes a little bit of practice.

But with the genres mentioned above its not just about beatmatching as i said before, its about finding songs in the right key, pitch, etc. Its making songs go together so well that the word mixing virtually comes out of play.

Also, who cares when hip hop dj'ing was invented? that has nothing to do with talent lmao
