  • Are those computers from America?...

  • ha its funny because they are communists

  • @zama422 they are socialists man... communism and socialism is different,.. zzz

  • Comment removed

  • so... learning how to use computer is based on painting your flag in paint... xD

  • @YTinjustice they are children..

  • @Sasilmin do you really think they will learn something more when they grow up? i think highest level of computer knowledge there is to be able to install windows xD

  • @YTinjustice i studied in north korea for past 5 years and also, i have north korean passport.

  • @Sasilmin im so jealous....

  • @YTinjustice don't be sircastic...

  • @YTinjustice i mean sarcastic..

  • @YTinjustice of course man... they proably learn how to do programming or making smarphone apps..

  • They use enemy software. Omg

  • @Eincis computer software tech is originally from germany... z

  • they're using the computer, but are they able to access the internet?

  • YOU DRAW FLAG WRONG! YOU DIE NOW!

  • @thatamazinggeek Yes, I have seen a lot of things more fucked up than this. internet is full of killing or murder videos. top comment?

  • @thatamazinggeek in what way is this fucked up?

  • Robots.

  • This is awesome. The North Korean govt doesnt even realize this is going to cause a rebellion because their people are eventually going to learn how to uncensor the internet and find out all the shitty suff their govt has done.

  • @meincough They dont have internet only an entranet which is there own private network they can not connect to anything else like what we have.

  • @plyjhny really? I thought maybe they had internet but just highly censored like internet in china.

  • @meincough If they had internet outsiders would have hacked it by now to tell them about their fascist dictator Kim is a little smarter than that you can sensor your own internet but others can hack it so they had to make an entranet

  • @plyjhny I didnt even know there was such a thing as "entranet" until you said something. I'm old and dont know much about computers haha

  • @meincough lol im a kid with a wierd interest

  • @ 2:00 Shes using Facebook. XD

  • Always be careful when using paint software to make North Korean flag. If you make mistakes, you'll be served as dinner to your Dear Leader.

  • To all pro USA people here, please do research on North Korea before you comment because you sound like morons, believing what the media says, I live in Puerto Rico and I ENVY Cuba!!! Heard their medicine and educational system is better, hell Castro is like 80 and he's STILL smoking cigars!

  • @91jmda There is a gulf. between the medical care the elite gets and the medical care the average cuban gets. If you're a Cuban elite or a wealthy foreigner you will get excellent care-there's an entire medical tourism industry in Cuba.

  • @91jmda Cuba and North Korea are two very, very different countries even if they're both "Communist" countries. I mean, the United States and many ultra-poor Latin American countries are both "Democracies."

  • WTF. Their government is against US but their computer is made by DELL.

    LOL

  • Alot of viewers still stuck in 1950s concerning North Korea by choice. Get over it and move on..... North Korea has...

  • @klee642

Don't believe everything media tells you, media is not your God. Media companies are PROFIT business and pro-government. Stop stereotyping people... and don't let your resentment control your emotion. If you never met the people, then stop talking bad about them behind their backs. AND keep your nose out of someone's ass, as your ass smells bad too; keep your pre-selected opinion to yourself. Having little humility shows character......

  • when they are introduced to internet

i bet they will find about the truth of santa clause

  • holy shit she's 26??? I am 27 and wtf!! I am not that OLD!!!

  • HOLY MOTHER OF GOD!!!!

    They have Windows XP!!!

  • @DaveJangable We learned MS Paint on Win-95 in school when I was 9. That was in Eastern-Europe in the mid-late 90's. PC-s with a GUI were a new thing to us back then, so we knew nothing about the stuff that wasn't a Commodore or not running MS-DOS. It's the same for them, they aren't born with a Samsung smartphone in their hand like the southeners.

  • @thatamazinggeek Your mother.

  • @thatamazinggeek yes,their leader himself:)

  • look at all those well-fed kis from the elite class

they are probably going to end up designing nuclear bomb anyway

  • @lawmauwa Have you got facts to back that claim?

  • @Weeman44444444444444 what am I? CIA agent?

  • @lawmauwa and not even CIA can get an answer for that. so how do you expect me to get claim to back that up

  • @lawmauwa Why would you make a claim that you can't back up? Where I come from thats called talking bullshit.

  • @Weeman44444444444444 yea okay weeman44444. their entire government is so corrupted and bsing anyway. and by the way, i use "probably" in the sentence so it's not definitive. If you want to uncover the truth, do it yourself. i am not going to back up that claim. period. you can continue to bitch about people commenting on the internet without actual proof. welcome to the 21st century

  • @lawmauwa and maybe you should be in that video cause you PROBABLY need some computer lesson as well.

  • @lawmauwa and if you read up ahead at cool12threeman 's comment, he said that if you use the wrong color to paint the NK flag in MS paint, you will be served as dinner on the leader table. so how come you didn't make him to back up his claim huh?

What I see is that you are hating on me and that's called discrimination. you want me to define this for you as well?

  • @lawmauwa and i would love to hear your argument for this

  • @lawmauwa Stop crying cry baby just because I called you out you go cry like cry baby huh why you cry like baby?

  • look at all those well-fed kis from the elite class

  • @lawmauwa

Yes, they are much like capitalism whether they like it not. Rich elite gets the best lawyers, and gets into ivy schools with large donations/gifts. People are people everywhere.....

  • Đứa nào đứa nấy Mặt ngu thấy mẹ

  • Not sure if learning to draw their country's flag on MS Paint counts as 'learning how to use a computer'...

  • Why latin script keyboards?

  • I think that teacher is hot :D

  • red star os is the name of this operating system first released in 2002 but needed a few tweaks. i soppose by today the north koreans have perfected it and now have a good operating system they can trust. i hope this brings the use of more technology in north korea. before 2002 they used windows.

  • Comment removed

  • PLZ PEOPLE , WHATEVER QUESTIONS OR COMMENTS YOU HAVE, DO RESEARCH ON NORTH KOREA BEFORE YOU MAKE STUPID STATEMENTS YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT.

  • well at least there getting through the 18th century

  • How come every footage from North Korea is labeled "propaganda"? If we'd seen a similiar video of the U.S. we wouldn't care.

  • @arthaskiller in north korea everything is a propaganda pal

  • @qwertyuiop060 not really man. north koreans will hate you man.

  • They don't have enough money to eat, yet they have enough money to sponsor clothes for a class, computers, and a healthy teacher...

  • I would had laughed my ass off if they would had drawn a American flag

  • She does a good job teaching just in the wrong place.

  • The weird thing is, I really want help by teaching them the Basics in Computer from stuff like Microsoft Office to Editing pics using Photoshop or Creating Webpages.

Maybe in the future when North Korea will be freed from the dictatorship and fall under a new government I might get the chance =3

  • @mondeost2202008 i completely agree with you

  • @thatamazinggeek yes, its called USA

  • at least they are gonna be good crackers crazy...

  • Dude, you're getting a Dell (American) !

  • today i am going to teach you how to draw a north korean flag!

  • 0:40 the girl is pretty hot.

  • @jansonchoy Hell yea!

  • @jansonchoy Have mercy on her. She's underaged!

But I have to agree, I kind of admire the beauty of North Korean girls. Maybe because of the fact that they're pure compared to the outside world. That's one of the things that should be preserved ;P

  • it is funny to see how they so much hate America but enjoy using that Windows Microsoft without a problem.

    = )

  • @suni31200 The best way to defeat the enemy is to use there products and make it better. Its what china has been doing for the past years. They have adapted to our technology so well they even got close to california and lauched a intermmidiate range balistic missle over the landcoast from a submarine!

  • farmville anyone???

  • imagine what happens if they paint a piece of shit on the flag xD

  • at 2:00 the female kid has an "HELLO KITTY" brooche on the hair. A japaneese brand!

That's only propaganda, and the school is only for the rich families belonging to the comunist party

  • @overclock25 it doesn't look like a hello kitty to me - much a rabbit for those long ears? lol

  • They keyboard was in English.

  • Incidentally, the only thing they're taught to draw on the computer is the North Korean flag. When they get into the more advanced stuff, they get to learn how to draw Kim Il Sung.

  • I'm pretty sure this is a propaganda piece. Unless the kids are from high placed party members, the average North Korean can't even afford metro tolls.

  • Do you have Call of Duty NoKor Ops?! LOL!

  • i dont think girl at 1:58 is russian mixed or mixed blood because if shes real russian mixed then she was lives in russia and i've never heard that there is many russian mixed in north korea

  • 敵国のOS使っている。これも米帝対策か?

  • бедные дети не поиграют не в lineage не в wow

  • يا سلام

من هم صغار يتعلمون على الكمبيوتر

  • north korea reminds me of the movie "the truman show"

  • Listen up class. We've installed new software. If you crick on start menu button, you will see:

    Kim Jong Il Portrait Maker

    Kim Jong Il Philosophy

    Kim Jong Il History

    Kim Jong Il Birth Place

    Kim Jong Il Achievements

    Kim Jong Il Military Policies

    Kim Jong Il Malware assassin

And don't forget our CD library.

  • very discipline NK kids, versus retarded american kids.

  • @basia750 They are disciplined alright, you would be disciplined too if I would own your life and could do anything i want with it assuming ofcourse i'm a cruel bastard, right?. Educate yourself. I don't like you.

  • @basia750 Partly I agree that the people who are educated under the communism system are more disciplined than those under the capitalism. You can hardly find fucked-up kids in China. Lol.

  • However, I have seen a lots fucked-up kids and youth (alcoholic, pimp, slut etc) from Australia and New Zealand. What a culture shock!

  • i bet u half the guys will go to the military

  • Girl at 1:58 is not 100% Korean. Somebody has been messing around with a foreigner.

  • @popeyenolive

maybe she's the grand daughter of the famous traitor american during korean war

  • @popeyenolive this is exactly what I thought; I hope that her face won't cause her trouble in her life...

  • @popeyenolive

    Russian mixed.. mostly..

  • lol...only thing they can do is draw a flag....there is no internet line.

  • the girl in 2:00 is beautiful!

  • @benwcc

yeah you had the right pick pedo guy

  • Only certain N. Korean Party Members/family will be allowed to learn, use, and have a computer. This also includes cells phones or other electronic equipment! Owning a car are for only party member also! Until N. Korea are allowed to really see how the outside world is like they will believe what their corrupt government are telling them!

    Welcome to George Orwell "1984"!!!

  • LOL! Of everything they can do, they are to draw the north korea flag...

  • LOL i wonder what happens if one of those kids draw the american flag.

  • those kids look so tired.

  • the first kid who stood up to speak doesn't look Korean.

  • @JessieBaek

how does a korean look like

  • @JessieBaek

She looks Korean to me. I'm Korean.

Some Koreans look like that. She looks like my friend in Korea.

  • First assignment, draw the NK flag. Second assignment, draw our leaders. Third assignment, attempt to hack into any US government server farm.

  • Its a linux distro...

  • Poor kids :( zx

  • Don't lie. I know you would also sleep with the teacher

  • whats this word "mida" they say like every other sentence

  • "seumnida" - sentence ending which in their grammatical structure constitutes a statement.

  • @Invilidity thanks

  • I feel sorry for those are making jokes about the North Korean people. You should thank GOD that you are free, Do you think they chose their life to be like this. After few years when those kids grow up and they will read you comment what you think they will feel. Be a human and be a nice with people. Please I am not asking a lot. Just be nice with people.

  • @localmin1 god has nothing to do with it. god is what keeps people down... notice how kim acts like a god on earth.

  • lol a keyboard. Thats useful for learning how to use a computer

  • funny that the keyboard layout its usa qwerty.

  • I think this video had been maden in Pyong Yang))

  • translation: Welcome children, with these glorious new computers given to us from our great and not corrupt goverment we can now produce stories of our glorious leader twice our original output.

  • Kids: today we are going to learn how to control nuclear weapons from a computer!

  • south korean call computer as "컴퓨터"

but north korean call computer as"콤퓨터"

    it sounds weird to me

  • LOL. They should buy some LCDs. South Koreans make some of the best. :)

  • think those pcs can run cs

  • i´d tap that teachers ass!

  • OMG!!!! They have MS Paint...

  • @cal5086 We're doomed!

  • everything North Korea shows is a propaganda to people in US, because they feel like North Korea is mocking at them. ha ha.

I know it. The other day I got a phone call from this crazy guy who keep calling me xucking moron continuously. US is filled with metally retarded people to a point that its really scary.

  • why does north korea keep making these bull shit videos? Do they not know all people watch this and go "propaganda bullshit"?

  • That's a hot ass teacher

  • 99% Afghanistan, Russian, China and Korea and other nation aren't allowed for kids to use computer at that 9, because they will get crazy in computer and brainwashed like american people using it to kill people and making prostatutes on it! thats why we are smarted than you!

  • Haha. Remember this is 2008, and this will be their state of the art facilities out of the whole country. Compare this to the best Junior schools for technology and design in the West. The Computers and software look like they are between 5 - 10 years out of date, and the actually room looks like its from the 80's. I don't think they have internet there either.

Funnily enough it does look like they are running Windows. However its not very clear. Could be as they probably are donated computers

  • poor kids

  • Bill gates one white guy has more money than the entire North Korean economy lol.. enjoy the microsoft software and the personal computer primitive North Korean fucks the so called great leader isint so great hes just a short little fat cunt with a belly

  • did they buy the software from Microsoft?

    isnt that America is enemy?

  • @trafalgarstreet Well, the OS in the video only uses an XP like theme, under the hood it's just a regular everyday normal Linux, in this case Pulgunbyol distribution—the one DPRK used to develop before their famous "Red Star OS".

  • @Opaquit I've heard that the "Red Star Linux" blocks access to "unwanted" websites and supposedly acts like spyware, keeping tabs on what is accessed and written.

  • @Opaquit but the program that the kids are using is paint for windows which is american btw

  • @sweetheart2109 @sweetheart2109 Nah, that ain't Paint... the OS is not even Windows, it just uses kind of a Windows-like skin and the app they're using only resembles Paint.

  • @Opaquit Sure looks like XP to me. In any case, the computer monitor is clearly stamped "Dell", so even if the software is North Korean, the hardware is, at least in part, American.

  • @Opaquit ENGLISH KEYBOARD WAS MORE OBVIOUS

  • @smrterthenu most computers outside the united states use english keys as default, actually, dictator-run or not

  • @sweetheart2109 hahaha

    frekin' red star OS!

  • @trafalgarstreet

They had no chance to aford anything else, cos only microsoft can let them sell PC's so cheap fking monopolists! Imperialists!

  • @trafalgarstreet It's an illegal copy I bet.

  • @trafalgarstreet Well if you watch some other docs on NK people who stay in the nice hotel's everything is U.S. made. One doc I saw was of this guy going to a market and they had things like Oreo's and other American products. Shrug.

  • @trafalgarstreet that looks like ms paint programme so it must be windows

  • dh how they get dell pc's?

  • So artistic - first thing they do is draw their beloved flag!

  • there is now cause of someone from USA helped them with internet but mosted websites are banned

  • Those NK girls always grow up to be pretty. Sometimes i think south korea is overwhelmed by geeks and plastic. Their counterparts are better looking due to training under communism, too bad though. But then those NKoreans we see in youtube are probably well fed and rich living in city where their fathers serve in army. Communist girls always rock LOL!

  • 2:01 the girl is pretty

  • @Melvinisawesome prob the smartest and in one of the most well off families, notice NK media let her do the interview.

  • If i were one of those kids, i'd draw an American flag

  • hmm what happens to the programmer if that thing suddenly crashes...

  • The "internet" in North Korea is basically a large intranet network with access restricted to authorized websites and databases.

  • damn.. the teacher is freaking hottt!!

  • @BestlikeMike One man's meat is another man's poison.

  • yah there are computers in NK but sad to say no INTERNET.......

  • Matter of fact, there is internet, or so to say... North Korea has its own network and dont use the US based "internet" network. They even have an own operative system called Red Star OS, a Linux based system. I guess it's a way to further block contact to the rest of the world by not using the actual "internet".
