During an exorsism you can bring out such and evil entity/ies that it can enter your body and you will suffocate. So strong is the evil residing within you. And for a priest, well, they believe in God and are in away filled with something holy. And something very evil and holy in one body is just a cry for problems. Now, I don't really believe it can happen, but this is the explanation I found after doing some research for a school project about exorsism.
I'm note sure you need to go that far! But if we assume that this is an unusually vigorous site/entity, I don't think it's a job for one man. Several at least, and preferably very experienced. I believe that there are a few such persons

I've been to Greyfriars and stood directly outside the gates of the Covenanter's Prison and I wasn't chased by anything. Though it just feels so sad there. It just hangs in the air. The rest of the graveyard is pretty peaceful during the day, though.
ive been there and didnt feel or sense anything. however the old "domestic" site at the old raf bomber base in bardney in lincolnshire however. its in a wood next to the old airbase, with the ruins of the huts the airmen lived in dotted about. creeped the hell out of me, middle of a red hot sunny summers day and there wasnt a sound to be heard, no wind, no birds, nothing. overwhelmed by this feeling of absolute dread. i will never go back.
I'd like to go there some day. The old hospital buildings (perhaps to isolate TB patients) that sit along the tracks on the way to Lincoln look like they'd be full of activity and atmosphere. They just LOOK sad.
I didn't see anything in Greyfriars, but I did see something I couldn't explain in Mary King's Close. A big black shadow walked across the doorway into the actual close. Blocked out the light and everything. We went out into the old cobblestone street about 45 seconds later and there was NO one out there. And it's so steep and long, there's no way anyone could have walked in front of that doorway then gotten up to the exit. Even sprinting. You'd break yer damned ankle! lol

@Biscom I didn't feel in danger at all the entire time I was there, it was just very calm and VERY sad. I just stood there and felt like I might cry at any moment, but it wasn't like it was me that wanted to cry, if that makes any kind of weird sense. I didn't hear anything either, it was very calm and very quiet. I'd seen things about the MacKenzie Poltergeist since I was a kid on telly and had heard about the happenings so I didn't really want to go in the tomb.
@Soloman1001 The gates to the Covenanter's Prison are locked during the day for safety (and vandalism) and we had to catch the train back early. I don't think I would have wanted to go on the tour, to be honest. We went on the Mary King's Close tour and after seeing something there I couldn't explain (albeit benign), I don't think I'd want to experience something more sinister than that. I do find it funny that Edinburgh U's electronics dept is right behind the wall of the Black Mausoleum.

During an exorsism you can bring out such and evil entity/ies that it can enter your body and you will suffocate. So strong is the evil residing within you. And for a priest, well, they believe in God and are in away filled with something holy. And something very evil and holy in one body is just a cry for problems. Now, I don't really believe it can happen, but this is the explanation I found after doing some research for a school project about exorsism.

@partyhat3 Exactly ,exorcism is one of those jobs that should never be attempted alone. After all I've heard acounts that the spirts can offten switch all their anger onto the one doing the exorcism ,if there is more than one of them then they can share the burden.

isnt that weird how he died shortly after the exercism once not to long ago i had a reverand who came to bless my house but the day he was supposed to come he had fallen ill i have not heard from him since i hope he is okay was it a coincidense? i dont know for sure and as of now my house still has not been blessed...

The exorcism itself doesn't kill you; but the entities you're trying to move on, might not like your intrusion.
They can effect you both physically & mentally- Physically: by entering your energy field & debilitating it, this weakening of your immune system can exhaust you & cause you to be vunerable to various illnesses. Mentally: they influence your thought process, possibly causing you to act aggressive or reckless; or causing deep depression, which can have obvious tragic results.

the strong energy coming out from the evil entity could effect the human body system or nervs but not realy causing death,it is verry rare and actualy not possiple but to be more acurate i would say that the priest was scared to death and he knew that this time could be real and not just like the former exorcism reading some vurses and evry thing well be ok,in verry rare cases death was recorded(enjury or had heart attack)but not from the demon but more likly from the shock or the fear

I've been to Greyfriars and stood directly outside the gates of the Covenanter's Prison and I wasn't chased by anything. Though it just feels so sad there. It just hangs in the air. The rest of the graveyard is pretty peaceful during the day, though.

ive been there and didnt feel or sense anything. however the old "domestic" site at the old raf bomber base in bardney in lincolnshire however. its in a wood next to the old airbase, with the ruins of the huts the airmen lived in dotted about. creeped the hell out of me, middle of a red hot sunny summers day and there wasnt a sound to be heard, no wind, no birds, nothing. overwhelmed by this feeling of absolute dread. i will never go back.

I didn't see anything in Greyfriars, but I did see something I couldn't explain in Mary King's Close. A big black shadow walked across the doorway into the actual close. Blocked out the light and everything. We went out into the old cobblestone street about 45 seconds later and there was NO one out there. And it's so steep and long, there's no way anyone could have walked in front of that doorway then gotten up to the exit. Even sprinting. You'd break yer damned ankle! lol

@Biscom I didn't feel in danger at all the entire time I was there, it was just very calm and VERY sad. I just stood there and felt like I might cry at any moment, but it wasn't like it was me that wanted to cry, if that makes any kind of weird sense. I didn't hear anything either, it was very calm and very quiet. I'd seen things about the MacKenzie Poltergeist since I was a kid on telly and had heard about the happenings so I didn't really want to go in the tomb.

@Soloman1001 The gates to the Covenanter's Prison are locked during the day for safety (and vandalism) and we had to catch the train back early. I don't think I would have wanted to go on the tour, to be honest. We went on the Mary King's Close tour and after seeing something there I couldn't explain (albeit benign), I don't think I'd want to experience something more sinister than that. I do find it funny that Edinburgh U's electronics dept is right behind the wall of the Black Mausoleum.

exorcisms and praying in my opinion may do an individual some good if they believe just because they will convince themselves that is doing some good.
